- Alexa’s Art Tour sees presenter and model Alexa Chung visit forces for change in the art world who each lead their different practices with sustainability, community, and innovation at the forefront. In the second episode of the BMW and British Vogue series, Alexa takes a stroll through the forest with Sophie Sellu, a wood-worker who sources storm-fallen timber to lovingly sculpt practical objects - spoons, brushes, kitchen utensils - that double as art pieces. “If you want something to live in your home for a really long time, it’s so good to know it’s come from a good place,” Sellu says. "Quite unconsciously, I've always worked with either found materials, reclaimed timber or storm-fallen trees, just because it makes sense. I don't know why you wouldn't."

everyone is aware they are just being lured to watch a bmw commercial which is exploiting their parasocial relationship with alexa chung and attempts to rebrand bmw’s low class and bad taste image to a higher one by loosely associating it to art? all good, but im curious if people are aware.
No, I wasn't tbh, but I usually don't notice or care about cars so maybe it's just me! 😂
I love Alexa but I just can't unsee her sheer lack of authenticity as a presenter in this particular series. Her interactions with the two set of artists so far have felt pretty robotic and half-assed to me, probably the sloppy writing and editing are to blamed as well because both the episodes seemed to end quite abruptly. It would definitely help if they can let the artists have the spotlight for longer to be able to share their respective journeys in a more wholesome manner because the entire premise of this series is actually very promising and inspiring. I hope Alexa and the entire team shall do better as the series progresses!
Who ever did the sound design here… sorry, but this spoils the whole video. Very outdated to have tasteless music that is constantly THERE. I feel like Alexa was given too many directions. And she does not need any. She is star and they should let her shine. Her personality will cary thru the whole production. If you only they would let her. Love you Alexa ❤
