I unfortunately have a unhealthy habit of distancing myself from the people that matter most in my life. I can come off as... well... grumpy towards others, even when they are happy as can be. So I will pray for help to see that there is good in my life, and to have the compassion to share it with everyone instead of confining myself to the not so good things. 🤭

My 13 year old sister has cancer, and Sunday I had gotten a call from my parents asking to gather all of my siblings to come and say our goodbyes… We prayed, we asked for a miracle, and here we are 5 days later and my sister has made a MIRACULOUS recovery and doctors are in AWE!
No way is this young lady as loving and amazing as she seems . My bucket list contains to visit this church and hopefully meet this POWER COUPLE of God 😊

I love this message. I have always said God wanted all of us to treat people with kindness. Many people who go to church believe by going to church every Sunday it will hide their unkind heart but God sees everything.
Learning how to address conflict here, and some people don’t hear you when you’re kind. By kind I mean agreeable, willing to overlook obvious issues, and not speaking up and addressing an issue directly. I absolutely feel better when I can be kind to everyone everywhere. People are not kind. And by not kind I mean purposely disagreeable, purposely neglectful, and gaslight you when you try to address it.

I had to rewatch this after taking a step back and reflecting, but the person I'm least kind to is definitely myself. I always believed telling myself I wasn't deserving of something was humility. Now I see it as brokenness. Humility isn't shutting yourself down. Thank you, God, for these beautiful words of wisdom. One of my teen students attempted to end her life tonight. We had talks. I was trying so hard to help her. She suffered from depression. I really wanted to take her to the church but I was not allowed as a teacher here. I am so sad. God bless her and don’t give up her young life, please.
