I loved the video but there is a few misinformation. 4:45 Mika hates vampires just as much as he hates humans and would never defend them. also Shinoa was even partially right, vampires physically cannot care, only a few being exceptions to this, but even then it's very limited, like Mika only has feelings that are connected to Yuu, otherwise he wouldn't care. That's the biggest difference between vampires and humans among other things. Vampires also don't die, all of them get turned into demons with no memories, vampires see it as a fate worse than death otherwise they all would have offed themselves. 5:50 all vampires were once human, humans know this but the reason they aren't all that concerned with it is because turning a human is forbidden without the progenitor council's permission. Most of this is world building that is only mentioned in the manga so most anime-only's never know about it which is why I mentioned it. Still though, I really liked the video and can't wait for p.2
they can only start caring and feeling emotions when they reach a certain age and or strength and mika does have feelings towards the others, in the manga, it's difficult too see but he does care, mika in general is a caring character, but his emotions are only deep for those his close with, say yuu and the kids + abit towards krul
@@Alicein07 no, vampires only have feelings towards those they had strong connections to as humans + the vampires that turned them, not based on age or strength. For example: Rigr/Saito -> Shikama/The first (sire bond) Ferid -> Saito/Rigr (sire bond) Mika -> Krul (sire bond) Krul -> Ashera/Asuramaru (human bond) Urd -> Rigr/Saito (human bond) Mika -> Yuu (human bond) While I agree that Mika is inherently a caring character, or was, he holds no personal feelings towards the squad, emphasis on 'personal'. He cares for them in relation to Yuu, he doesn't want to hurt them or want them to die because it'd indirectly hurt Yuu, his feelings revolve around Yuu, he's said himself that all his emotions were fading except for the ones regarding Yuu. As for if he still cares for the kids... I'm not sure. I'd like to think he does but there's no telling if it's again just an extension of the feelings he has for Yuu or the love he had for them as a human.
@@Mikaela1864 in the transkatio i read it said somewhere that certain vampres of age or power can get emotions and it was alspo said that lower rankingones don't even care for ones they used too care for
@@Alicein07 in the what what? cz I'd be interested in reading it, cz it was stated in the manga that the older they get the more they lose their emotions (except for a few exceptions as stated in my previous comment) it just doesn't seem plausible to me that the vampires could "regain" emotions after reaching a certain age, surely after going hundreds of years without feeling anything for past relationships it wouldn't just come back, no? it don't make sense. I do agree though that lower ranking vampires that weren't turned by nobles wouldn't retain their human emotions, so you have to be of a certain noble ranking from 'vampire birth' to retain human love.

Mika wasnt used "sexually" to Ferid when he was just a kid, if you've got it wrong. But, he groomed him. And that, is still gross. (+ Ferid was REALLY creepy when he was talking to Mika. Ew ew ew)
