There may be more, but to my knowledge, there are three songs that I've seen LoveBites play live that have had any type of backing track to it: Judgement Day, Shadowmaker, and Swan Song. Those tracks are not to replace what abilities the ladies do not have, but to augment the sound when they are needed. The backing tracks on Shadowmaker and Judgement Day are keyboards that play the same riff as the guitars in unison, but octaves above the guitars, while in Swan Song, the piano is playing during the chorus while both Midori and Miyako are playing guitar. You'll hear the track drop when Miyako puts down her guitar and sits down at the piano. And you can tell that the track is Miyako, because she wrote and played those tracks for them to be used. Again, they aren't there to replace any lost ability, but to supplement the abilities already there.

Since Miyako can't play guitar and piano at the same time, she'll lay down a backing track with the instrument she isn't using live. And she's a virtuosoat both. If thrash is your thing, then I'm going to recommend you listen to "Break the Wall", which in my opinion is one of the best thrash songs ever written. It has a more Slayer-like sound (to my ear), with a Gary Moore blues twist (you'll understand when you hear it). It also features the previous bassist. In terms of backing tracks, LOVEBITES do use them, but NOT to beef up the sound. They use them when they want keyboards in the song, as their keyboardist (Miyako) is playing the guitar. I usually don't like Metal. Lovebites is the notable exception. They have a sound and musicality that is unique, recognizable and comes without that testosterone stink that I very much dislike in metal.

Left and right arrow keys will rewind/forward 5 seconds. The lesser known shortcuts are the J-K-L keys, which will: rewind 10 secs/pause-play/forward 10 secs. If thrash is your thing, then I'm going to recommend you listen to "Break the Wall", which in my opinion is one of the best thrash songs ever written. It has a more Slayer-like sound (to my ear), with a Gary Moore blues twist (you'll understand when you hear it). It also features the previous bassist. In terms of backing tracks, LOVEBITES do use them, but NOT to beef up the sound. They use them when they want keyboards in the song, as their keyboardist (Miyako) is playing the guitar. I usually don't like Metal. Lovebites is the notable exception. They have a sound and musicality that is unique, recognizable and comes without that testosterone stink that I very much dislike in metal.
