KNOW GOD, NOT ABOUT HIM
The devil was once in Heaven he knows alot about God, he probably knows more scritpures than you will ever know. The only difference is that he doesn’t put into practise even one because it nulifies him from being the devil. Alot of us instead of doing simple things in the faith journey, we spend alot of time sitting down and criticizing so many preachers and thinking you are better than them. You are not in any way. Instead of watching or listening to a semon and growing, you are listening to sermons because you want to see what they are saying wrong. Instead of watching a 30min sermon, you watch 4hrs of a youtuber criticizing men and women of God. How sad !!! The devil is keeping you stuck in that cycle of knowing about God but not intimately knowing God. When you keep that doing that, you will develop a spiritual sickness called, self importance, pride, spiritual obessity and you are stuck and you can’t move. To prevent these things, just do the simple things, like purposing to always priotize spiritual spaces, this simple thing will lead you to doing so many things. You will read the bible genuienly and not like a story book or a book to win spiritual arguments. Start to believe Him and do this without a doubt at all. It doesn’t need to make sense, matter fact most times it doesn’t. But trust God when it doesn’t make sense is an action of faith, and that’s a character of those who know God. Those who only know about God don’t have faith to trust in Him in tough times. They resort to all other ways but God.
