    $179.00 in 2014 for me. Insane that the prices have skyrocketed so much!

      Mine was just under $300 in 2017, a November 2012 still nearly in perfect condition. Looks like asking prices are $1,000 - $1,500 on Chrono24 now. But I'd not sell at that.

    The reason why the width dropdown is for micro adjustment

    • @hammondwatch2808
      @hammondwatch2808  Před 3 lety

      I know that's why it drops but most manufacturers just use a more aggressive taper so there isn't a big jump in link width. It doesn't bother me it's just a bit quirky.

    I may have to try and get the Heimdallr version because I missed out on this ...all I could get was the black PVD versions, I have two of those!
    I really need a stainless steel version!

    • @Edua1111
      @Edua1111 Před 3 lety +1

      I got lucky and could get the black-orange version recently - new old stock. Half PVD-half SS, only on a rubber strap - switched to a mesh bracelet right away.
      Well, not a full stainless steel, but I like it very much. Maybe I will got a original bracelet, but, it seems the Heimdallr's has milled clasp, as well as the Islander - maybe they would be a better option if available separately.
