I personally think that the "i imagine death so much it feels more like a memory" thing wasnt like a suicidal thing or anything, but more of "i wonder whats gonna happen to me, and what it feels like", or maybe just thinking of multiple possible ways he could die. Of course, there were many times where he didnt care if he died, but i dont necessarily think that imagining death a lot is a bad thing by itself-
