After seeing the leaked dance rehearsal, i totally understand why they shot this video the way they did. Everyone is in for a HUGE surprise!
The video gives nothing away in terms of what they have planned for the performance or staging. The music video literally focusses on the male models who are from some modelling tv show, whereas the leaked footage focuses on Kaleen and a few male backing dancers who deliver a slick, modern street style dance that will SLAY the audience. From what i saw, shes not going to rest on 'sexy' or turn up the strip club vibe that some female artists have been leaning towards lately at the ESC.....shes going all in, energy, sass, attitude and lots and lots of controlled movement and rhythm.
This video serves as the perfect way to get people to sleep on her as an artist as it gives nothing away which will enable her to come from nowhere and blow everyones socks off!. I cant wait to see her at the finals! She just needs to make sure she can nail those vocals and its a done deal!
Do the PreParties spoil anything from the leak? because I find her moves kind of bland in the parties
@@ooacntcaeva607 no, she's definitely holding back and doing the minimum at the pre-parties! The Austrian delegation know what they're doing, but since hearing her sing, her vocals are my only concern. The show she's about to put on won't dissapoint. I just hope she can pull off the vocals.
The hilarious thing about jumping straight into 'slo-mo' as a pre-impression, is that Kaleen was creative co-director for slo-mo for Spain.
She's actually a Eurovision insider, so to speak, having worked on or participated with several Eurovision entries before and her partner being a famous staging director.
The guys in the video are temporarily contestants in „Germanys next top model" and this was one of the tasks :) I like this entry...it's not pretending to be more than what it is: a fun upbeat nice tune to drive around in your convertible....

A sprightly tempo from the early 90s got this lousy dancer to move. The muscle memory worked as a time machine to the past where everything was possible and this dude had a black-and-white world view. So, Kaleen will be a finalist.😍

This music video is A LOT. It's the type of MV your parents walked in on when you were watching MTV or any other music network and you had no explanation for why there's half dozen shirtless men and a hot blonde being the center of their attention.
Oh, song is decent. Of the songs this year harkening back to genres of yesteryear, it's pretty low for me.
Poor Carlena, when the break music beat kicked in after the second chorus, her face said it all lol. This is a lot. I don't know how well it works outside the context of a party, because that late 90s to early 00s eurotrance break sound is LOUD and obnoxious, and you either like it or you dont. I wouldn't hold it against anyone for not liking it.

It's nice, I like it. I do feel the sound is either too close or not close enough to the 90s - but it's a good pop song. More pop than rave at any rate,
I'm sure it'll have lots of dancing on stage but I do wonder if her vocal is up for the task... and also if that will even end up mattering or not. If it comes together on stage, maybe top 10... if not, this could crash entirely. Not sure if the juries are going to blank this, they could.
4:20 its a semi truck tire if i see it correctly. Most like 385/55 R22.5(normal truck and trailer tire for semis) could also be 65 instead of 55

That's my number 1 and that wasn't a reaction, it was just a bashing of a song that is very popular! If this song was from Greece or Sweden, would you probably be dancing on the chairs?
It's just their opinion, and personally I thought they weren't rude about it either. Been following their channel for a couple of years and the Greece/Sweden claim sounds super weird, where did you pull that from? IIRC they weren't exactly smitten with Tattoo last year, for example.
Anyway, I think the 90's/early 00's eurodance revival is something that non-Europeans might not relate to as much as Europeans do. As we saw on the video, they referenced Lady Gaga, whereas most Eurovision-fans (at least those old enough) will connect this more to the likes of Cascada. I think it's a fun song and definitely has a chance to do pretty well!
if this song was from Sweden or Greece... we still wouldn't. No shade to ppl who like this (we all have different tastes!) but they're kinda overestimating how well this will be liked by a general audience.
I am european and this song doesn't even seem like a song to me. It's cheap techno pop listened a thousand times in the 90s. Zero creativity. For this we don't need Eurovision. Going to the disco is enough.

I think that was pretty solid song. Quite average music which still does it thing. And I love how Austria is doing basic Swedish pop song the year when the competition is in Malmö Sweden. This one will get many points. Top 10 easily.
I was a bit surprised and not surprised about your reactions. A lot of people somehow love this song and I think it is due to nostalgia. But all I hear is 'Rythm is a dancer' mixed with 'Firestarter'. It's a bit of a lazy song. I think Kaleen will bring quality but the song itself? And difficult to stage imo. 12th in the odds but I can see this not even qualifying. Maybe a good opener for SF2.

If they react to one song at a time, the properties of time work in such a way that some songs will be reacted to after others. Sorry they can't break the laws of physics, but stop with this weird ass comment.

I totally agree with you. I don't really get why people like this monstrosity but I guess as an Austrian I'm not unhappy about it.
Agree it gets boring quickly to me... Too much repitition of that chorus without interesting details.
The first half is fun though. I think the music video is supposed to be a retro cliché in a way. Probably a cost effective tie-in with that tv show.

for me this is a very strange reaction video. I don't really understand why people are talking about a truck tire. That has nothing to do with the song. Just a tip: Maybe just find out about the person you're talking about online in advance. Then you would know that the video was shot in America and Kaleen is an experienced ESC participant. And the stage show will be completely different than the music video.
