I've almost decided to make the move to maine when I list and sell my cabin in Lincoln, Mt. Property appraised high this last cycle...$207,000. But property tax has gone crazy...1600 this year. Approaching 70 in november. Retired Cop. Love the beauty up there
Enjoy the Maine properties but looking toward the Western side of Maine. Would like a 20 acre parcel minimum with a cabin and decent access for 3 seasons at least. 10-15 miles to shopping etc. Great place to spend the "final leg of life's trail".
First home brutal that it doesn't have a fireplace. Why in the heck would you want to live in this cold of a place without a fireplace? Makes no sense. It also has no electricity or water. NO thank you.
