we have to swipe these fuel cars using the same bank swipe machine then only we will get reward points , or else we can swipe using any bank swipe machine then also we will get rewards? Please clarify
I am using SBI Octane for past 2 months, and have an average spend of 12-15k pm on fuel used it for 2 month and got around ₹3000 fuel for free directly redeemed by points through POS machine at BPCL outlet.
Does it require SBI POS machine to redeem the points? Cant redeem it through any other machine?

Even if your average spend for 1 month on fuel is 15K and for 2 months is 30k, then you get 6.25% back on 30K which is Rs.1,875. even if you round off this figure it goes to 2,000.

You didn’t compare the other FUEL CARD like CITI INDIAN OIL, AXIS INDIAN OIL & HDFC IOL CREDIT CARD etc. Even CITI is the most old card in this category. So please make one more comparison video with CITI and AXIS cards.
citi indian oil and axis indian oil are similar, and there is a list of petrol pumps where we get bonus points and surcharge waiver for both of these cards biggest drawback

If we buy HP Pay Gift Card through Gyftr, then it is considered as ECommerce transaction and not Fuel transaction, can you please confirm this? This way there are chances that we can earn regular reward points on Credit Cards, since most of the regular Credit Cards don’t offer Reward points on Fuel transactions. Not tried this loophole, just exploring.

Amex Gold Charge has been working well for me as a fuel card in Gurgaon. Fill 2000 petrol and tell HPCL guy to do 1000 x 2 transactions. They have always accepted Amex.

Please don't take BPCL vouchers as the pumps which are directly owned by bpcl will accept those vouchers and such pumps are very rare. Normally all pumps will deny to accept the vouchers. Even I went a pump which could redeem my bpcl card points but said no to redeem the voucher
This is a problem with vouchers and Fuel co-branded cards.

It gives 5% cashback (4% cashback + 1% surcharge waiver) on purchase from any fuel station…
No strings attached with any particular fuel station company… ✌🏼
But this card has a limit of Rs. 200 cashback on fuel in a month, so you get cashback till your fuel spends are less than Rs. 4000, which is slightly on the lower side. Still, a good card since you can fuel up from any fuel station.

@@elonman1616 you will get max 200 cashback monthly, that comes rs 4000 fuel, that too have to be done not at one go, two transaction of 2000 or lower each.
It's a mid range card....u can't get cashback like BPCL card if u spend higher amounts...and ..u can't get cashback in other things like phone bill and utilities below 750 transactions which in low range
@@bireshsipu7570 but unlike the BPCL card it actually works. I have heard from multiple different sources from the past few years that you can't actually redeem the points on a BPCL card since the petrol pumps listed on their website will deny it. Then what would be the use of this card?

The problem i am facing with indian oil axis bank credit card is they charges xtra amount...i filled my tank with rs 390...axis deducted rs 402 from my card and got me 4 rs as fuel surcharge waiver...where the 8 rs is ?

I was using HDFC Indian oil card. Same thing was happening with me. So asked customer care. They said these charges are due to POS machine used. Which is of not HDFC. And for other bank POS machine rewards also will not get.

With BPCL Octane I can earn upto ₹7500 in a year purely based on fuel spends... And even if we consider the renewal fee I am still getting ₹6000 which comes to an overall benefit of 5% on fuel spends which is good... Moreover I will get approx 2.5% value on spending at places like Dmart which is again decent enough if your spends in this category are within 30k in a month...
But don't you need a SBI POS machine to perform the transaction in order to be eligible to get the valueback?

I shld say I have the best FUEL card. Standard chartered bank Super Value Titanium. If I fuel for 1000 rs - I get 4% - 40 rs cashback. Simple. No strings attached to it. This is for any fuel stations. Also you can add this collected cashback to credit card easily without any redemption fee anytime.

ICICI HPCL is giving direct statement credit not points. And its best for fuel.
BPCL Octane is best in terms of rewards but it has issues like..
1. Not always detect BPCL outlet and Not giving surcharge waiver or Points. And follow up is headache.
2. Redemption of points is at limited places and some listed pumps also not accept by making excuse.

HPCL Super saver card is giving cashback only if the bill name is on HPCL but most of the outlets give bill on their vendor/Dealer name. Thus we dont get points on most of the HPCL fuel stations.
