  • Intrusive thoughts are random thoughts that pop into your head that are often strange or distressing. So it's a normal reaction to want to stop or get rid of these thoughts.

    My father told me the same, he says that after a while these thoughts go away because they have no "food". He says it sounds easy but it takes practice

    By doing this practice. It works. But I get no anger on the thing I used to and that is super depressing and anger inducing. I mean that's changing who I am, right. The things that make me angry makes me who I am. I want to be angry, sad etc with those thoughts. I don't want to get numb on it. I just don't want the thoughts that trigger those.
    Does anyone else feel the same way.

    My BP was 183/103. I have a super high anxiety surrounding checking BP… and so in the back of my mind I’m like what if this is my BP all the time? I know it’s not… but idk how to fall back from this

      You’ve got to just experience them and the anxiety/fear they bring, and not react as beat you can. Just laugh at them, don’t over think it, and they’ll start to subside.
