- Design Gaff is officially 2 years in business in April 2024, so, I thought I'd do an updated print shop tour video as there has been quite a bit of new equipment added in the 2 years since I opened the doors.

Thank you for the tour. Great help on my journey of opening up my print shop.
Thanks and best off luck with it :-)
Nice little shop. Very well organized. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Mike
Dope Brutha! Congrats on your evolution.
Thank you
Now all you need is a Mimaki TXF-300 and you’re complete!
Thanks :-) Unfortunately, I wouldn't have the space or the money for one of them just yet. Laminator will be next and hopefully a few years down the line, I can branch off and start doing the fabrics
Very nice studio :) Nothing is superfluous.
Some questions - if you liked HP Z6, why didn't you buy hp latex 315 etc.?
I myself work with epson R5030, but there are so many bugs that I want to take another one to help, but not epson. Maybe latex.
The applicator table still needs to be worked on, and a silicone surface must be placed on top so that it can be safely cut + cold laminating. I have a professional CWT 1630 automatic table, but it is insanely expensive. When I make the second studio, I will optimize a lot of things.
About morgana - you can always sell. Maybe there is another printing house nearby that you can give the folding jobs to. I know from myself that I always want to buy all the equipment that is available, but it is not always worth it. I would sell the morgan, buy a mac mini + a good screen, which is necessary to work with accurate color work - so that the print matches what the screen shows. And also an entry-level calibrator.
Good luck, colleagues! :))
Thanks. The contacted the guys that supplied the Konica and they had the Epson. I trusted these guys and know if I have any problems, they are just a phone call away.
I have thought about selling the Morgana but it would need to fixed first. The settings are a little off on it and the odd sheet comes out crumpled.
The cutting table was just made last month and I'll get a good 8x4 mat for it shortly.
I could sell the hp and put that money towards a laminator but I'm thinking a back up would be handy.
