Ok dat freaking last clip when is I saw old “475” felled him in my mind and 475 freaking said,”I remember u the first time”, 0:21 ok
I love N&W 475! The ringing bell and the whistle sound are beautiful on this locomotive. When I went to Strasburg, I was in love with that train and I still am today. Especially because of this video.
Glad you enjoyed
Bro I never saw 475 in my life but… I knew ur memories of him dynamo productions, I’ll see u in da next 1.
I can’t wait to watch Norfolk and Western 611 Arrives to Strasburg Railroad, Pennsylvania
475 rolled out of Baldwin in 1906 as a M class 4-8-0 mastodon type. It hauled mixed trains before being retired after revenue service. 475
later took part in the anniversary of Roanoke. Later 475 was retired again in the 1960s and put on static display. After being sold to the Strasburg railroad, it was restored into operating condition by 1993. It has been pulling photo freights and excursions ever since.
I love the ghost train stop it make me want to do it over and over with my eyes closed
Dang, I love steam.
Your railroad videos are among the best there are on CZcams. The quality is always excellent, and the content is always interesting.
Thanks!
Beautiful locomotive with that whistle, and 475 always seems to be the locomotive that goes faster than the other two
It certainly is
Railfans during the 611 event:
Thats some nice open road you got there!
Wouldn’t it be nice if I
*made it impossible for you to go anywhere?*
JerryDoesThings 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Well Done!!! A pleasure to watch.
Thanks
Very nice video, big thumbs up :)
Thanks
People sometimes ask me where my passion for trains and railroads originated from, and I point to two distinct sources: Thomas the Tank Engine and the Strasburg Railroad. My maternal grandmother (God rest her soul) used to live out in Lancaster County, and would take me on train rides when I was very young. In fact, I have a picture of her and I (when I was around 6) after one of my first train rides, and the engine behind us is none other than #475.
Stunning video!
Thanks
Great video! I’m hoping to go in the Summer and this makes me want to go more!
Thanks
Beautiful ❤️
Agreed
Awesome Cant Wait until 611 Arrives!
Tristan Rail - Productions same channel me too!
Glad you enjoyed
Excellent video, thank you, with a great variety of locations and angles. What's not to like about this? Greetings from the south coast of the UK, Bob K.
Glad you enjoyed
Nice Job Man
Thanks
dude i was standing right next to you at the larmie WY bridge is so cool to meet you
and fun fact not only I'm excited to see the 611 again with 475 at strasburg but the 475 played as the Rainbow Sun in Thomas And The Magic Railroad.
Awesome
Thanks
IM EXCITED
Great video! When was this filmed? I know that it hasn’t worn the Strasburg on the tender for a few years same with the 3 Chime
Filmed May 2015
Dynamo Productions thank you
Awesome sauce! When was this recorded?
Filmed May 2015
@@DynamoProductions-trains Thanks! Are you going for the 611 event? I'm going October 13th!
What kind of whistle is she wearing? Sounds like her factory built 3 chime
I think it’s LIRR 39’s whistle.
That whistle sounds new? Really untypical? What whistle is that?
Is that a pennsy 3?
I thought 475 won't be out it the Shop's till the End of this Summer
Filmed May 2015
Great video! Awesome shots! Tell me, when was this?
Filmed May 2015
I didn't even know 475 was a N&W engine
It's been lettered for N&W for the majority of the last 15 years.
dude it is right there on the tender
When was this taken?
I also subbed btw. Good crap.
Wait, I just realized. 475 is back! It didnt hit me until now. I thought it was archive stuff
@@pennsyrailfan4995 Filmed May 2015. The 475 is still getting rebuilt and will probably be out shortly before 611 arrives in September.
@@DynamoProductions-trains I know I just saw that comment. Lol. I thought it was back already for a sec!
Sure did have a different whistle back then though. I also remember seeing the 475 tender in the engine house so they're up to somethin...
Huh. As someone who enjoys watching engines and from Pennsylvania, this is some interesting stuff.
And today I learned 475 was used in Magic Railroad, one of my favorite films.
Unfortunately, it makes certain recent events much worse knowing a piece of my childhood was damaged...
Most of those tracks look too "spindly" to hold the weight of the 611!
Actually the tracks are in better shape in recent years actually
They've been upgraded to handle regular freight.
*insert excavator here*
Now we know why the rainbow sun couldn’t take the magic buffers
I hope when 475 returns this September when 611 arrives it has the N&W logo on the tender instead of strasburg anyone agree?
I agree.
It's been lettered for Norfolk & Western pretty much regularly after this footage was filmed.
Dynamo Productions I saw it in July and it had N&W lettering.
@@SteamZRailfan it did
The Strasburg Railroad was found in 1832. The line is been 100 years old in 1932.
No offense but I think it would be proper and respectful if 475 would have Norfolk and Western on it’s tender
And not just for awhile but I mean forever
Hey everett in 2022 475 being new one
Norfolk & Western 475 “Rainbow Sun” = Female.
