Fun fact
The group actually comes from a hip-hop lable not a kpop company
They are signed to Brandnew music owned by Korean rapper Rhymer
They first appeared on S2 of produce 101 and we all knew they were special cause instead of doing a cover they actually auditioned with a self produced self choreographed song called Hollywood writen and composed by Daehwi who was around 15 or 16 at the time
Daehwi pretty much makes all their music and music for other artists
Woojin also contributes a lot
The group has this really interesting album called 5NALLY where instead of having a comeback they decided to give each member their own solo music video
The concept was very interesting and the members + Daehwi worked on the music together and the members got to have input of the videos they were making
It was very interesting to see the direction that each member took in terms of sound and concept since it was very different from what AB6IX would release as a group

Definitely the new album. I think their b-sides are always the best though.
I would recommend reacting to the newest album. Their first album sounds a little dated (most of the songs were written by Daehwi when he was a teenager, and Donghyun) and they were more limited in their resources back then. The current type of music they’ve been making the past 2 years is more aligned with what they’ll be making in the future & has more outside producers on board. If you like Grab Me you’ll also like the b-side Traveler on the same album. Traveler was written by Daehwi & he’s been writing alt rock songs more frequently these past 2 years (Sucker For Your Love is another good one). IMO their b-sides are usually better than the chosen title tracks. Here’s my b-side rec list: Traveler, Blaze, Resonance, Stay With Me, Do you remember, Reality, Eden, Crow, Parachute, Einstein, Paranoia, Sucker for your love (there’s also a part 2 song called Sucker but it’s more jazzy and some people find jazz boring), Surreal (there’s also a rock version), Vivid, Level Up, Blind for Love Nu disco mix version.
