アルバムも買って（LIFE だったよね）、この曲を暗記するまで歌いこみました。
男の私がカラオケでも歌ったのですが、不思議なことに「あの曲はなんてい言う曲なの？」とカラオケを出た後に2人の男性に興味を持って質問されたことがあります（一人はその後、すぐにレンタルCD屋で探してました）
決して華やかな曲でないし、男の私が歌った歌で興味を惹いたのですから、やはり初めて聴くには斬新な曲だったのだろうなぁと、今でも思い返します。

This song is the best example for the comeback of easy listening music in the nineties. It was already retro when it came out. This great band had to be from Sweden because e.g. in Germany many people were in fear of so much superficial beauty.

that's what I always thought. Their style was very 50-60s with jazzy chords etc. First I thought it was a gimmick but I actually began to appreciate it for it's (relative) complexity. They lost that magic when they began writing pure rock songs like "Erase & Rewind".
And a few years later with Gran Turismo they changed their sound to very modern.

Traveling through Sweden on vacation summer of 1995, stopped at a CD store in Katrineholm, found the Carnival single. Put it in my CD player on the way to Malmo - life forever changed.

Debo reconocer que esta canción esta muy bien hecha ,melodía pegajosa ,con buen acompañamiento y arreglo sencillo, pero con muy buen gusto..en pocas palabras buen pop. Se hecha de menos este forma de hacer canciones en hoy en día donde las voces están acompañadas con muchas secuencias ,y prácticamente sin arreglos instrumentales. La cantante es muy bella ,tal vez no tiene un registro vocal tan poderoso,pero le sabe sacar mucho partido a su voz,e interpreta muy bien..
