You already know how to use your voice- So what do I do as a vocal coach? Wellll let me tell you! It’s one of my favorite topics so buckle in! You have So. Much. Knowledge. About your voice. You know what you need to do subconsciously to emote in any way you need.
But we don’t easily bring this into singing. Why? We’ve been led to believe that singing is on a pedestal. Contest shows and the music industry have shoved down real amateur singing so much that we don’t even try. We don’t go outside of our comfort zone for a second, and wonder what we’re missing when we do try.
It’s 3 things: awareness, safety and allowing. In that order. Let’s talk about what you need and I’m here to support you in relearning trusting your voice. I say relearning cause I’m pretty sure when you were a baby you trusted your voice to get you where you wanted to go 😉
