Nice car! I used to have a 92 sc400. They are a lot of fun.....one thing though is that front end you have on there is the 93 front end, the 98 one has more rounded off foglight with a little bit of different variation on the lower grill

That looks like a 92-94 bumper. Am I the only one who keeps thinking this? It's missing the front air slot and has the large cornering lights.

Justin it's literally the exact same one as my 92 hardtop, sans the (what looks like a 400) front lip.
Noah Alonge it's definitely a 92-94 front end. 97+ looks a lot different.

Evan Shanks I know this has been brought up a million times but that is not a 97-00 bumper. It's not even a 95-96 front bumper. It's the stock bumper for your 93. Also that lip is stock for your car as well and was an option from 92-94.

That isn't a 98+ bumper, that's the stock 93+ bumper with a 400 lip.

Buy a 1jz for the sc300, then put the 2jz from the sc300 in the miata
2jz ge is heavy and not that fast

MershMelluw 2j is not a good engine for a Miata. It's much too long to fit well.

They made 150 black on blacks each year of production and the steering wheel is from the 1997-2000 sc300 as when they added vvti to the 2j they changed the wheel, gearbox and shifter

That's not a '97-'00 bumper. That's the early '92-'96.
Also that's a '99-'00 SC steering wheel.
And black on black was available from factory.

just a few things: the 98+ front end has a celiac like mini grille and also rounded fog lights and a trapezoidal front vent.
This car has the OEM stock 93 bumper.
sc300/sc400 makes no difference, the lip is the same.

I really wish I lived in the states, somewhere where it never snows, or at least never gets salt on the roads. Maybe Florida, Texas, something like that. Canada sucks for keeping your cars nice, or keeping certain cars on the road all year round.

I'd like to see the motor kept (unless it's on it's way out) and you do a TwinCharger setup on it.
That steering wheel also comes in a 99 and up SC. Im not sure if its exclusive to the 400 or not(in SC model), but mine has it. Im sure it was in other Lexus models as well.

So, you bought the car from Sarah? You can very likely fix the steering tilt with a water hose rubber washer. Fixed my former SC300 that way and it worked perfectly.
