Bro I finally went with your choice, as it seems to be the only one where the clips can rotate, which is very important. And then although the receiver has only one type of connection, I'll buy adapters for if I ever want to hook it up to my macbook pro. Thanks again! I’m sure there is a third party iOS app for that, but I am using the built in Voice Memos app for this. Moving the mic closer or further away would be the only method of adjusting the incoming volume, but I find that the Voice Memos app has been doing pretty well with the automatic volume settings.

It would have been nice to see a test outdoors in wind conditions.
I actually do have an outdoor video using this mic, and unfortunately, it’s not great when there’s a breeze. Might be better with a wind muff. (Check out my video on the OneUp V2)

Nice! I just did a review on my channel Earth56 for a wireless mic that includes a receiver for an iPhone as well as a receiver for Android. It comes in a charging case with two mics that can be used simultaneously.. I also did do tests from different distances as well as the different recording modes. How long do these mics stay charged?

Hello. My lavalier wireless mic works when I record using the camera app on my iphone 14...but so far I can't get it to work when I record a video using the TikTok app. Any idea what the problem might be?

Hi! I did recently try this out for the first time in wind, and unfortunately, it did not do too well. Perhaps a better wind screen cover might help, along with some post processing.

hi! does it automatically change the audio of the video recorded or you have to sync the audio to the video when you edit?
If recording video through the iPhone, it will automatically sync. I record audio only using this mic and the iPhone, and video comes from a different camera. I then have to sync both clips in editing.
It's very goog sound quality, you can reduce the bass on your voice in post production.

It does work fine with my case, and should be ok for most cases. The large protection cases may cause an issue.

Yes, if you’re using them while recording iPhone video, it will use the Mic’s audio in the file. In this clip, I was using my mirrorless camera and then connected the mic to the iPhone using the Voice recorder app, and then replaced the audio in post. Hope that helps!
@@preludedrivenYup thanks so much. Yes I did think that some people probably do that, use it just as a voice recorder (using the mic in an iphone as a voice recorder while video is being recorded elsewhere), but I don't have a camera and my iPhone's front or back cameras will have to do just fine.

Greta question. I have not tried this, but I believe the receiver can only pair with up to two transmitters.

I find it hard to draw a conclusion here. You demonstrate the microphone but also show that you are mixing together audio streams where you should not. So is the sound from the wireless lav actually only that? Other, similar reviews show a clearly lower quality audio (as to expect on a bluetooth headset) while the one you're showing seems to have a wider range and better quality - but again, is this mixed with the audio of another mic? That would explain. Anyway thanks for the video, next time please do better.
No mixing of audio streams here, it’s either the wired mic (from the camera) or wireless mic (from the iPhone). Where at in the clip are you hearing mixed audio streams?

Once you connect the lightning adapter to your phone, simply hold down the button on the microphone to pair, and the connection happens automatically. Please let me know if you still have issues.

Tried these and there was a very noticeable background buzz. Might be good for outdoor stuff but in a studio setting these didn't work for us.
Sorry to hear. My experience has been the exact opposite actually. No buzz indoors, but the slightest wind outdoors causes fuzz :/

Unfortunately, you cannot use both, as the iPhone will automatically default to the mic from the Bluetooth connection.
I’m not sure if there’s an app that lets you specify a dedicated input to use as the mic, but that could work.

Did the pair process complete? As long as the indicator light shows it is connected, you should be able to get audio. Try opening up the Voice Recorder app, and tap on the mic to test the audio input.

Hi That's a great question, but I believe it will only pair with the two mics.
How long does the battery last?
I actually have not fully tested that, but should! I do recharge the mic before each use, and have not had one die on me. Longest recording time was about 45 mins thus far.

The receiver does not need to be charged. But it does have a port to charge your phone through, if your phone battery is low.

Why does the dongle have a charging port if there's nothing in it that needs to be charged?
While the dongle is connected to the iPhone’s Lightning port, you can connect a power cable to the dongle to charge the phone while recording 👍🏽

I would verify that the mic is fully charged. Also, look for the paired light, then tap the mic to check the audio levels.

Yes it does! Not a bad question at all, but it will replace the built-in mic; audio recordings, video recordings, it will use the wireless mic in its place.

a two microphone kit reviewed without demonstrating how it records both channels is kinda useless. all microphones are pretty much the same. how the device combines or separates the channels is of utmost concern. but, every other one of the twenty five reviews i watched to try finding out how these devices behave also made the same mistake. nobody knows how to see the product as it would be used as intended.

It definitely has high compression out of the box. I am able to bring out the levels a bit in post.
I don’t think you posted the correct audio for the wired mic. That was definitely the iPhone mic.
Hi, that was indeed the correct audio for the wired mic. The wireless mic has a more muffled sound, whereas the wired mic allows more of the echo from the room to come through. Thanks.

I have the same experience. Not only does it not improve my audio the transmitter on the phone NEVER turns green. It is always red…

Yes, for some reason, the wired mic always has a ton of echo in this room, where it is pretty empty and the wood floors do not help lol. The wireless gets rid of that, without the need for any sound processing.
Both mics sound pretty poor. My Motorola's inbuilt mics sound better.
