Absolutely gorgeous version of this song. I’ve been listening to Rod and Everything But The Girls’ take on this song and this is subtly different interpretation. Just beautiful. Great to incorporate the Mandolin too. Reminiscent of Rod’s ’Maggie May’.
Oh Wow ! Great arrangement ! The mandolin and acoustic guitar accompaniments helped develop the ambience and mood of the song.perfectly to create a nice soft rock version. Geat vocal Con. Heck, i even thought of the vocal dude out of the 70s band Dr Hook as i was listening to this. 😊

Nothing beats the original as the saying goes. But nothing beats too, if you show your own version of any song. Note to note transcription of the original is ok, even better if people hear it on reggae, jazz , rock, country, blues, flamenco etc. style. Hscc has nailed it.
