Heyy... This is my city... I'm frm ferozepur.. and my great grandpa was then moved to frz from Pakistan and lost his brother in the river.. they really faced a lots of struggle.
Can't imagine how our ancestors went through sorrow, grief on those circumstances, those days can't be forgotten, may humanity prevail in our country we had seen already so much bloodbath of our own ppl,, marvellous film.

it wasnt the ancestors among india...it was people of punjab...divided....once into india pakistan....it was a hatred to spread intentionally between sikh and muslim s....then in time of indira gandhi...for blue star.den after the death of indira....then the govt ruined the generation with evergreen supply of drugs..... and believe me that would be catastrophic for the whole india one day.....

This short film is so far the most hard-hitting melancholic thriller in period genre I have ever seen. Impressive performances are powered by a strong screenplay and beautiful cinematography.
I have no word's to express my feeling. At the end it shows the Dark side of the partition (1947), and a lovely message from such a breathtaking short movie...

Being a punjabi , usually it gets difficult for me to connect with the punjabi characters as they speak mixture of punjabi and hindi, but in this one there was nothing like that. I could easily get connected with the characters. Thumbs up

at least some one had te guts to decipher the actual picture. bengal faced a similar scenario. i am living, heard the tales of atrocities from my grandma daily. her brothers were slaughtered. but still it is the best we got. kudos director. and salutes story writer. at least you got the heart to spill the bean.

So so much pain I don't even have words to express my fellings. 1947 partition was a big disaster for whole subcontinent I've heard thousands of stories from my grandparents about the brutality of local people towards migrants they burned whole villages and rape the young females they jumped in well to safe thier honors (izaten) my ancestor was from Indian Punjab side migrated in Lahore I literally got goosebumps after watching this 🇵🇰💙🇮🇳
