The awesome power of the first "Heeding the Call" scene and the big reveal. The building tension and "oh shit!" adrenaline rush of the "All Along the Watchtower" following scene with the impending attack. The mind-twisting "what the hell?!" moment where "Kara Remembers" and its companion scene where she enters jump coordinates. All so very damn epic scenes and all powered by this man's musical genius. He took an outstanding show and made it an epic masterpiece. I had such a great time watching the show I didn't want it to end!
I love how Bear McCreary's work is presented in the show...I love that a song was used to turn on the final 5 in the nebula, that Starbuck is daughter of the lost Cylon and how the notes of the music was used to jump to a new home! Very creative storyline and this rendition of All Along the Watchtower is awesome!
ITheOManI In season 4, after Starbucks's husband, Sam Anders, also one of the final five, was shot during the takeover (w/ Gaeda and Tom Zerick) and he starts having the memories of the five and how they were responsible for recreating resurrection...after Sam's surgery where he never gets conscious again, Starbuck is in the bar (where else right? LOL), and the guy is playing the piano, it turns out that he was supposed to be her dad and the song was something her father wrote when she was little. It's the tune that "turned on" the final five in nebula. Also, when Ellen is with John Kavil on the colony ship she talks about how Kavil (the five's first created cylon) was jealous and poisoned the amniotic fluid of the Daniel so that no more could be made...(I guess like Cain and Abel). Also, I think Starbuck was actually 1/2 cylon, and that she was killed on the "earth" planet then finds her own body...but I think because she would die as humans all do, that is why the hybrid and even Sam said "Cara Thrace, you are the harbinger of death". Just my take. I didn't watch the series until a year ago, and now I've been through it entirely twice and some episodes more!! I really like it. My daughter says that the following series, Caprica, was also very good. Sorry for the lengthy answer and I think it's fairly accurate, or at least this is how I came to think that she was Daniel's daughter.

fishface123ism Dreilide Thrace is never stated to be a Cylon. Daniel is explicitly stated to not be Dreilide Thrace by Ronald D Moore. Kara's neither full nor half Cylon, she's something more. Baltar describes her most accurately as an angel. Slick, the figure in the bar is meant to represent her father, but like Head Six and Head Baltar is not actually a physical entity.

The brilliant story line, the mystery, the esoteric nature of the event in BSG. And then in concert played by the music master himself and Starbuck. It must be like a near religious experience for die hard fans to witness it.
