So TRUE!!!!!! When I was studying psychology in University, sleep deprivation was a huge cultural mental health catalyst. Decrease sleep = increase stress = everything you don't want.
Very true! Lack of sleep totally increases stress levels. Speaking of which.. I need to go get some sleep now haha. Cheers!!
I will have to try this for sure. I'm a night owl as it is, but I always have trouble falling asleep.
I too am a night owl! Although as of recent years, I've learned to appreciate the quiet of the morning too.. I love sleep when I'm actually sleeping, but otherwise, I sometimes wish we didn't NEED it to function haha! Let me know how you enjoy the flow when you try it x

What a great idea. I rarely have a problem sleeping, but now if I ever do I will know what to do. I suppose it also works if you just need to relax?
YES absolutely this works to simply relax as well! That's so great that you can fall asleep easily on a day-to-day basis. Always good to have this in your back pocket though, just in case. ;-) Thanks for watching!
Great video. It made me to relax just watching it. I needed that. I fall asleep easily but I can't stay sleep long enough. I need to make my sleeping period longer. Any advise on how to achieve longer sleep times? Unless you are going to make a video about it! Thank you for sharing this.
Thank you Saro! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Regarding longer sleeping times, that doesn't necessarily go hand in hand with having good quality of sleep. Even if you have a shorter sleep, if the quality is great, then it won't matter as much to sleep longer - however if you sleep longer, that doesn't always necessarily mean it was good quality!
But what I would recommend to put your mind & body more at ease is to try to get some movement into your day, whether it be exercise or even a lengthy walk outdoors, which helps you to physically & mentally relax and de-compress. Also focus on your breath while falling asleep. It helps to quiet the thoughts and induce the parasympathetic system of the body (rest & digest) so it can function more optimally! Hopefully that helps.

Yes, definitely it helped me and gave me some clear ideas to improve my sleep. I have noticed the days that I workout, I sleep better. I will focus on my breathing as well. Thank you so much.
You're very welcome Saro, glad to be of service! Remember, consistency is key so try to keep a routine for yourself as best you can and your sleep cycle will thank you. :-)
