There are concerts with varied quality. Sunnyboys removed a lot of NZOZ uploads of their material and had them replaced by their uploads (that is in mono sound quality).

Yeah this is a good number...the Sunny Boys were very underrated and not so mainstream but they were very big for those of us involved in surf culture...i love the combo of that 60s surf sound with the punk vibe! A good punk sounding one from them is Tunnel of Love, which was on the classic surf movie, Storm Riders.

Fun tune, dark lyrics. Fine choice my friend.

Good on ya Greg! On ya for checking out more of my boys. They came from Tweed Heads and settled in Newtown, Sydney. Jeremy was also a surfer. Keep up exploring the deep Aussie rock rabbit hole.. You'll need a 🔦.. Gets pretty dark and weird at times...

I've never heard You Need A Friend before, but it sounded familiar. Then it hit me. They have a song called Happy Man. They're practically twins, but Happy Man was bigger and is a better song. czcams.com/video/oKDlmQhWqUg/video.html

    G'day Greg,
My wife usually makes comments on videos like this and she has dropped a couple of comments on your channel. She posts as Live It Up. She was a Countdown kid back in the 70's and 80's and takes an interest in channels like yours.
The footage of the youths was b-roll of a 1980 documentary about Melbourne youth. The title escapes me, but a couple of my old mates pop up in this clip. We were the lost youth of the day. Some of them have since left us, some are grandparents and others like me are jaded survivors of the corporate world and retired.
Good to see you checking out the old Sunnies. Cheerio.. Brett

Had to be Melbourne with all the Conti jackets. They were good days, really miss them sometimes.

@@iankearns774 It was Melbourne. For some reason, the documentary disappeared and what remains is the footage of Melbourne youths. It would be great if it was retrieved in its full glory.

I had a bit of a crush on Jeremy Oxley back in the day. Michael Hutchence and Jeremy Oxley were my dreams. Proof that not all Aussie men look like Paul Hogan or Jacko.
