@@JzLyfe I'm not sure as I have neither of them (just started the guiding lands as I play slow as shit) but by looking at stats I'd say Fatalis only because of the absurd raw (1632 bloated) and the lvl4 deco slots, as long as you can get your affinity to 0 it should be great for any hunt. Otherwise Alatreon's has enough raw and absurd element (810 draco) so I guess it shines in certain hunts and seems less of a pain to make a set around it. me personally I just make all the best GS trees and make sets around them to pick and choose later for any hunt.

All in one attempt flying up to the cliff as well Just now i uploaded a video of mounting ziggy when he does his slam move from the air and i knew it was coming so i timed it and mounted his ass It was a gamble but it payed off yeah i took damage however i mounted him Sometimes even when you take damage you can still do lots of damage regardless... If you can survive the attack to begin with Most people run away from an attack i go head on is my point and get mounts or knockouts Eventually I'll upload a video of all these crazy moments I've had in this game as a compilation it's going to be damn good you'll see stuff you haven't seen before Going to upload them in smaller segments then have a huge video together later down the road

Using the Combustion Wyvern with those rocket boosters charging and the fire release effect makes it another 10× better, especially on perfectly placed hits like those

I don’t play GS but I feel the same during perfectly timed blocks with my favourite weapons: lance and gunlance. Especially the gunlance’s fast reload, to time it perfectly and hit the monster between the attacks in its combos to knock it down, makes me feel badass every time.

thats how it feels with the hunting horn too. before the bubbles mechanics came and messed everything up, us HH mains liked to claim we know what we're doing but it's really just mostly flailing around trying to hit buffs and their face in the same moves and memorizing which direction to move when you trigger the song to have a chance to get out of the way or deal optimal stun damage based on what the monster's doing. once in awhile you do a threehit smash going backwards or perfectly do a spinny sidestep to the right after a couple hits and its FUCKING DOPAMINE AS FUCK every time. absolutely addicting just for those rare moments. and when you get enough consistent practice in, and those moments get less rare, you come off as a god to your fellow man as you keep the monster stunlocked, everyone buffed, and style on them the whole time. I would run paralysis in tandem with stuns on less resistant monsters for truly wonderful results, plus the vespid horn just sounds so pretty
