  • Brushless Impact Driver Restoration Video
I found this tool from Japan recycle shop only 15$. It is 14 4V Brushless Impact Driver - Hitachi WH14DBL. The battery charger don't work, I think it was plugged in 220v outlet. There are 2 batteries come with, there are only one can be reuse. About the driver is need to clean, change the bearing and add new grease to gearbox. At the end of video you will see how it works.
I hope you find something useful & enjoy this video!
I am happy to receive your feedback, advice, suggestions to improve myself.
!!! I apologize for the mistake if I have made in this restoration !!!

*Awesome impact **MyBest.Tools** Takes tires off in a second. Plenty of power for what I’ve used it for - rotating tires. Using it on 3rd setting for removal and 2nd setting for tightening lugs.*

Another excellent restoration, as good as new if not better. It will probably last many more years.
I wonder how many drill and impact impact drivers are discarded every year when they are fixable? I have one that won’t hold its charge for long but it’s good enough for wire brushes etc, I might have a play with it when I get through my "to do" list. It’s not just the things you fix that’s good, it’s the way you inspire people like myself to have a go.
A great video, really enjoyed it. Thank you.

I'm so weirded out by this one. On the one place...how the heck does one get so much dust inside the battery, which is pretty enclosed, and on the other hand everything is in the box? I mean, that never happens, either the battery is missing, or the charger, that's how it usually is. The original owner was really weird.
Eh, but at least it got in your hands and it's fixed.

You were lucky that the charger solved by the switching power supply only had blown the fuse, because usually the fuse is blown only as a result of something worse in the switching power supply.
The soldering quality of the fuse holder is probably the worst I've seen from you.
In the future, you may use an ultrasonic vibrating bath for frequent plastic cleaning and similar operations. From the beginning, I also cleaned the mechanical parts of the Ithaca Epic950 thermal ticket printers and the Japan Cash Machine UBA-10 banknote validators by hand by toothbrush in warm water with dishes cleaner and later get too much, so it was time for an ultrasound.
