- Brushless Impact Driver Restoration Video
I found this tool from Japan recycle shop only 15$. It is 14 4V Brushless Impact Driver - Hitachi WH14DBL. The battery charger don't work, I think it was plugged in 220v outlet. There are 2 batteries come with, there are only one can be reuse. About the driver is need to clean, change the bearing and add new grease to gearbox. At the end of video you will see how it works.
I hope you find something useful & enjoy this video!
I am happy to receive your feedback, advice, suggestions to improve myself.
!!! I apologize for the mistake if I have made in this restoration !!!
**I still keep some parts, I want to save the world's environment**

*Awesome impact **MyBest.Tools** Takes tires off in a second. Plenty of power for what I’ve used it for - rotating tires. Using it on 3rd setting for removal and 2nd setting for tightening lugs.*
手際が良いですね。今年も期待しております。
This is like therapy for us, the tool nerds. There's this indescribable feeling you get when you see a tool being rescued from trash bin and cared for. Thank You. Liked and subscribed.
hitachi for me is one of the best power tools ever. The new and the old ones.Keep restoring not soo old tools
Well done colleague!!!
I really enjoyed this one. Thanks for showing the battery and charger repair.

Brushless motor impact driver. hope and i suspect you had a great deal! good find. good job.
Excellent Performance
Great video I'm doing the same to my 18v version right now and was hopping you were going to take apart the anvil hammer mechanism more beacuse I can figure out how to take it apart more but loved your methods !
An amazing job you did ، Just a pleasure to watch the video
That's a nice drill. Good job on the restoration.
Excelente Parabéns.
Nice video thanks
Another excellent restoration, as good as new if not better. It will probably last many more years.
I wonder how many drill and impact impact drivers are discarded every year when they are fixable? I have one that won’t hold its charge for long but it’s good enough for wire brushes etc, I might have a play with it when I get through my "to do" list. It’s not just the things you fix that’s good, it’s the way you inspire people like myself to have a go.
A great video, really enjoyed it. Thank you.
Very good
Me gustan mucho tus videos felicidades
excelente! sigue así en la originalidad de tus vídeos y cosas que valgan la pena reparar.
Very good work Mr. Gear Show.
Wonderful!!!!
Very good!!!!
Nice video and good fix. I prefet not to use ZZ ball bearings and armature because it's not made to work in dust environment, but if you will use it in clean conditions then it will work well...
Vert good 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hey man, brilliant video. Could you do one with a makita impact wrench? The sort used for scaffolding please. I know of at least 30 lads who would make benefit from it. Thanks buddy 👍
Very nice job! I hope to find the same old screwdriver like u to restore with cheapest price.
Anh làm dòng pana ý. Vỏ ngoài nhìn rất tã nhưng nội thất bên trong sạch sẽ lắm
お見事!
Wow.. just 15 dollars.. it's a very good price for a good cordless like that (even if restoration needed)
Amazing, as usual! Thank you for your channel!
Ótimo, sem falatório do jeito que eu gosto.

Great 👍 and It just isn't about knowledge but you have to be patient too. Wow 😅

Brushless motor is the best
Beautiful...where do you find these beautiful obdject ????
Happy New year !!!!

Hi Gear Show 👋👋👋 very good restoration Electric Drill 👍👍👍 Merry Christmas to you 🎊🥳
Hey Gear Show! I asked this question on a previous video but what do you do with the spare tools? I recall you have around 4 bench grinders.
The best thing that could happen to this drill would be to gather all the parts, throw them in the trash, take the box, gut it, zip tie it to the front of your atv to be used for a random tool box. Done.
Super!
Nice
Edan, nih bule.
Maen oli aj pake baju tangan panjang, kan sayang kena oli.
Kerapihan yg ManTuL👍
Try to repair the dead battery in another video, please.
National ez604.thanks you
за 15$ яб тоже такое купил. но включать зарядку бы после замены преда не стал в вдруг ипанет. дальше бы прозвонил все. акмы заменить все 8банок и будет идеально пахать все. класс бесщеточный
I'm so weirded out by this one. On the one place...how the heck does one get so much dust inside the battery, which is pretty enclosed, and on the other hand everything is in the box? I mean, that never happens, either the battery is missing, or the charger, that's how it usually is. The original owner was really weird.
Eh, but at least it got in your hands and it's fixed.
The battery unit is air cooled by the fan inside the charger base. So there are two openings on the battery in order to allow air flow

Hi. I'm a new sub to the channel.
Loving the videos. I have kind of a stupid question, why do you use powdered laundry detergent to clean the clamshell?
Great job as always! Do you clean the cases too?
Big like
Very nice restoration. Did you changed the old battery cells with new ones ?
Have you used a heat gun to try to restore the plastic? Some time you can heat it up to bring the oils in the plastic back to the surface and it will look a lot better. But be careful because it will start to melt.
Shame he didn't change the cells, at least the other battery seemed totally dead, i doubt it will last long with any motor stalling.
maybe he tested each cell after charging?
@@soupwizard He would probably show if he did that. he did check total voltage and one of them was very low, so low that the battery will probably never recover.
Обалденный инструмент. И всего-то предохранитель поменять стоило...
великолепно! у меня только один вопрос, где ты их берешь???
Trời mua cả bộ ở đâu mà rẻ thế! Bảo mình với!
Hi, hoping to see battery replacement, but,,,,,

What is the brand of the best drill ever you used ? 🌹

Лайк не глядя

Another pink impact from Hitachi?
Did you not upload this before or am I imagining it?
He did a restoration on another Hitachi cordless driver that looked a lot like this one.

@@gfrankum63 I'm watching that many tool restoration channels now, it's hard to keep up.
@@HassanAchieved that what I thought initially.
Hello, I am from Croatia, Europe. Our electrical system and devices works at 220 volts, at the same time I see that you use sockets that are different from European ones. I am interested are we possible to use japanese tools too.
If we are, please can you put link of Japanese websites where you buy power tools. Thanks a lot.
Где нашли бесщеточный инструмент в таком состоянии?)

CLEANoRATION
What type of grease do you use?
what grease did you use in the impact hammer?
I use Kixx grease number 2.
hello ,
I'm happy to make friends with everyone
Eis um excelentíssimo profissional
I used to like Hitachi gear. Shame it's now branded as the budget Metabo tools now.
Just wondering - have you bough a sunk container out of the Pacific to have so many Asian corroded tools? ;) Rhetorical question. Great content. I'm really enjoying watching it :)
Hello my friend, is it possible to get batteries of this type in the picture I am ready to buy and also if you have a Bruschles system drill and a Bruschles Hammer system and it is the same brand as Hitachi 14.4 volts
この電池は寿命・不良です。
👍👍👍👍🔧🧐
Thumbs up for those who would have loads of screws left over & Washers..I know I would
Ok. So you live in Thailand and you guys buy stuff from Japan. Stuff that they pretty much throw away. With this extensive water damage, don't you think the stuff comes from Fukushima after tsunami? So it's a good idea to check if radiation levels are safe... Just saying... But excellent job anyhow!! Awesome!!
You’re not gonna change the battery cells?
Great restoration but where did the replacement “collar “ come from?
🇵🇱👏👏👍

You were lucky that the charger solved by the switching power supply only had blown the fuse, because usually the fuse is blown only as a result of something worse in the switching power supply.
The soldering quality of the fuse holder is probably the worst I've seen from you.
In the future, you may use an ultrasonic vibrating bath for frequent plastic cleaning and similar operations. From the beginning, I also cleaned the mechanical parts of the Ithaca Epic950 thermal ticket printers and the Japan Cash Machine UBA-10 banknote validators by hand by toothbrush in warm water with dishes cleaner and later get too much, so it was time for an ultrasound.
I used czcams.com/users/postUgkx4ynqaujg7rZKFapA8s29kTpRszJGa3-K this for the first time today to replace the front wheel bearing on my rwd 98 dodge dakota. This had absolutely no issue removing or reinstalling the lug nuts and it took off the axle nut without any struggle. Sounds like it's got some muscle to it. Time will tell
