Vocally speaking? Dangerous Woman Tour is her best vocals. She's more mature and her tone itself sounds less shouty and even more mature. She has a more healthier tone than the Honeymoon tour. But stage presence wise? I prefer both but I'll agree that she did seem more happier on the honeymoon tour. Maybe it's because it was her very first world tour where she goes to different countries? But dangerous woman tour shows that she's maturing into a serious woman and not to be taken lightly. She want people to take her a bit more seriously than always being called "awwwe, she's so cute!" I think with this dangerous woman tour, she's aiming to be a powerful feminist and force to be reckon with.

Ariana now has more control over her voice, it's not just random high notes everywhere. I also prefer the remixed versions from the DWT but I have a soft spot for the HMT

I went to both the HMT and the DWT and personally I enjoyed he DWT more because everyone was louder and it was literally wild , but her actual performance was better at the HMT because there was more props etc like the chandelier and the cloud and the mimu gloves and she talked to the crowd more😳

I personally enjoyed her Honeymoon Tour days more than her DWT. She seemed more happier, energetic, and more resonant with her vocals.
MajorMic first of all she doesn't resonant at all it's just her heady mix that helped her to sound "resonant"
2)the theme of her dw album is dark so she has to act dark (not that she seemed more "happy)

For this video, I prefer the DWT because her voice seems more full and dense. Even though the HMT she killed it all the time whereas she's more careful in the DWT

The DWT is so much less strained if you know what I mean! She hits those notes like the back of her hand instead of straining and screaming to hit some notes
i love the DWT but I enjoyed the HMT more because it felt more like a concert if you know what I mean.. it was more energetic, glamorous (loved the outfits from HMT ♡) and she seemed happier too...idk, but I'll always be a fan/support ari no matter what bc that's what this family is here for 💛

Vocals aside i feel like she performed better on the HMT because she was more interactive with the audience and over all more happier and energetic.
Dw album has much more darker tone to so she made the tour look the same. She isn't unhappy and she still has the energy but it's coming out in a different way.
She was absolutely stunning in both.
But I prefer the Dangerous Woman Tour for 3 reasons:
1) vocally she has matured, she has a much fuller sound and mature voice, a change to a healthier mix and slightly healthier technique make her sound gorgeous - also she has shown WAY MORE control on the DWT, high belts are great but her control is phenomenal now
2) THT was epic yes, but the Dangerous Woman Tour is an EXPERIENCE and an artistic concept both visually, sonically, and artistically (see Break Free and Problem remixes)
3) she is way more mature as a woman, she's more confident and exudes feminist brilliance which I love, she's becoming the role model we all need
I love her to bits and both Tours were great but The Dangerous Woman Tour takes her in a more mature direction as an artist, and vocally I personally think she sounds better now then the past 3 years 🙌🏻

i personally loved both tours. with the HMT she was definitely more peppy and excited. however, that meant she was straining her voice and it resulted in a lot of screeching. in DWT she was really calm and relaxed with her vocals, she totally improved since the HMT.
Outfits: 100% DWT, I loved every outfit she wore and none of them were boring! On the HMT there were many *boring* outfits
Hair: DWT for the same reasons as the outfits, all her hair styles on the DWT looked soo amazing, on the HMT there were mostly boring hair styles like just a pony tale etc
Vocals: DWT! Her voice became much more mature here and she shouted less
Stage atmosphere: HMT she seemed more powerful and happier there, maybe because what happend in Manchestser
All in all I prefer thw DWT!

I know a lot of people prefer the HMT because they're saying her vocals were better but you have to remember Ariana first appeared on Broadway, therefore she's more suited too Broadway singing. Secondly, she doesn't do as many high-notes in DWT because on the HMT she found that when it came to the A5's, the Eb6's etc. she found she was straining and mostly shouting them which was damaging. But when you think of the DWT. she's hitting those notes now without straining or shouting, her technique as gotten better the notes are more fluid. Lastly, her pronunciation has also gotten better, listen how she would sing in HMT, the words seemed to have no end and were just a continuation of the last word. Now if you listen to the DWT, she's pronouncing them properly and you can clearly understand more of what she's saying.
So going of better technique, breathing, less straining/shouting to get to the A5's and Eb6's etc. meaning less damage to her vocals and notes are ore fluid and her pronunciation is so much better. All-in-all, I feel as if the DWT has a lot more than the HMT, it's not just about the whistle-notes and cute Dorothy costumes - just because she has an amazing talent doesn't mean she's less humans and her vocal health it probably better off now.

Overall:the hmt because the performances were different and cool with more dancing and it felt entertaining where the dwt had remixes that I couldn't really dance to and I miss her Snapchat and her half up half down hair and how much she smiled and couldn't help but to smile.
For me it won the HWT cuz I was so excited to see all of her songs live and I was like getting into know Ariana! But I went to the DWT and It was magical she sounds so light even when people says she sounds chesty these day! I personally love her light tone its makes her unique

DW era, her voice is so much nicer to listen to. She isn't shouting in every song, nor is she belting high notes in almost every sentence of her songs. It's nicer to listen to. Her voice now is also WAY more mature than before. It's richer and has a more appealing sound that before.
HMT era, her voice is very strong and great. It's definetly not what i want to hear everyday in my headphones. She shouts more in her older songs. Her voice wasn't mature and darker and rich.
I prefer her now. Her outfits too are way better than the girly outfits. I fucking love her hair in the DW tour. I personally love her now than before. I do think she changed a lot though. But it's always good to change and find new styles and music. She's amazing all the time. She's a strong woman. I admire her so much!
I prefer the DWT. Her voice sounds so matured and her vocals and stage presence have definitely improved. Plus I LOVE the visuals from the DWT. It was so cool

to be honest, i prefer the DWT because it does not put a lot of stress on her vocals as the HMT. I think she used the HMT to put herself out there and make everyone know she's here and ready to stay! DWT is i think a transaction from a kind of bubbly/girly era to a dark/more mature era. Reguardless, I love both the HMT and the DWT♥️

I don't think that she's was happier with HMT or DWT. The thing is: she learned to control her voice and use in the right times the high notes and certains notes in the DWT Era instead of adding notes ramdonly as she did in HMT. Her throat became sick in due of her using high notes as BB5 or A5 all the times in songs like Honeymoon Avenue or The Way (both in HMT Era).

Ari's vocals are more calm and mature in TDWT and relaxed with less strain. In THT her vocals were strained and she had some gard time with some of those high asf notes.
Honeymoon tour- this is because I feel like she tried to reach some of the higher notes whereas if Ariana would’ve tried during the DWT then she would be a lot stronger and be able to sound better. She sounds lower and more mature now and she sounds amazing but the honeymoon tour era has got some killer vocals and is my favourite

dangerous woman tour was vocally & technically better. obviously there were things about the honeymoon tour that everyone preferred... including an almost nightly Bb5 in Be My Baby & other high belts like G5, G#5, and also an almost lightly A5. We got really greedy with all these notes... but now she sings with much better technique and less strain (although still some). This allows for Ariana to keep her voice for way longer. These tours are hard on her voice & it's very important for her to sing better technically.
In my opinion I prefer The Honeymoon Tour, since, personally, I say that he was more energetic, happy and expressive, and with respect to his vocal range also, he had higher notes, he played more with his voice, it was more exciting.
Dangerous Woman Tour is great, and she's showing her more serious side, but I find something less on, as much as staging, as Ariana's voice. It reaches its highs but in the other it is more neutral.

Its hard to decide whos better i like both tours i honestly cant decide both are amazing !!
I personally prefer the DWT as I think that she sounds less shouty. Her lower register has improved a lot and she can also resonate her higher notes better. She should also be giving her voice some rest because in the HMT she was constantly belting really high notes which could have damaged her voice. But this is only my opinion.
