  • A short clip of my Moto Guzzi V7 Classic with standard exhaust pipes, then after being fitted with custom pipes. The sound on the video does no justice to the real-life note on this great little bike!

The pipes are made by Pipemasters of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Peter is an exhaust guru. He will tune the pipes exactly as you need, louder or less rorty. His workshop is very small and old-school but his work is outstanding.

Now those pipes really brought that bike to life!

Yea but more broad mufflers = less compression = less efficiency = more sound
Stock exhaust are perfect and gives the right punch when gas is open..

I ride Griso SE myself. Your MG is the best sounding MG I HAVE EVER HEARD!!! Premium choice and respect to the guy that makes those pipes. Fantastic.

Sounds great but wouldn't it make a lot more sense to mention the make of the exhaust pipes? Just my 2ct's.

    Hola!

HI guys, sorry to be so slow responding to your questions. The pipes are custom made by a friend here in Australia, Pete at Pipe Masters ( www.pipemasters.net/indexfront.html ). I know they ship overseas as well as locally.

i know exactly what you mean with the recording not doing it justice, i have the same problem recording the sound of my Twins. but even in the video your bike sounds fantastic, the grumble just fits the bike fantasticly! ride safe!

interesting to hear. it would be nice to see the bike run through the gears past the camera. also a dyno runs before and after. oh yeah, let me run it from miami to key west, too.

Those are some mean ass pipes! I have a V7c with stock pipes and it sounds good after it's had years/miles on them, but nothing even close to this!

stock pipes with silencers, aftermarket without. not a convincing comparison imho, but maybe its just me, cause in my country silencers are required by law in aftermarket pipes as well. sounds nice without silencers though. maybe you could have saved the money and simply had the silencers removed out of the stock exhaust. no hate here, i'm just saying...

Way too loud to ride around town. Don't be THAT guy. The stock exhaust on these bikes sounds amazing. Why put racing mufflers on a 47hp bike anyway?
