I've been casually learning Japanese for just a few months and I can hear clearly all of the words or phrases I actually know to begin with (stuff like fox kawaii, doko ni..., kowai yo, kowai x3, doushi yo, etc.). Not saying the subs don't help, but it comes through surprisingly clearly, maybe it's something about Japanese? I think it should be no problem for Clipper-san.
