A better comparison would be Google Sheets vs. Excel in Microsoft 365.
All of the collaborative features you describe for Google Sheets are also available in Excel, I use them at work.

"you can't go wrong with either" is a seriously false statement.
What you forgot to mention in your video is that Google Sheets only has a market share of 5.73% in the business world. Microsoft Excel has an 81% market share. That is a huge difference when trying to get hired in the business world.
Basically a company is 81% more likely to use Microsoft Excel. So learning Microsoft Excel will benefit you greatly. There's a big learning curve between Google Sheets to Microsoft Excel. I've tried learning Google sheets on and off for 3 years I just don't understand it. But then again, I've been using Microsoft Excel since 1995. I can find and do what I need to do in Excel very well. 81% of business companies will expect you to as well.

if 5% use sheets and 80% use excel, that means a business is 16 times more likely to use excel, not 81% more likely

Very helpful. To me it comes down to performance. I am currently running tests on Google Sheets to see if it can handle datasets with over 10K rows. So far its good but it can get laggy when using the "restore versions" feature. It would be nice to mention what "large data" means, since to most people what Google Sheets can handle would be more than enough. With Excel though I never have to worry about the app ever getting "laggy".

Such a hard NO, for something so simple. You can make a duplicate of the sheet and delete it after.

No need to save in Google sheets because it is in cloud not in your system also it has backup feature for daywise.

Excel online version is so much worse than Google Sheet. Sometimes it is required for me to work with Microsoft 360 and it is always pain in the ass. Especially Excel. I am working with it now, and so frustrated I needed to write a negative comment somewhere. Hate Microsoft Office online version so much! First I was happy we got licence for our company, but I am so dissapointed.

I find GS is so much more useable and modern. Excel shows it's age with stupid legacy stuff. Also, GS automation is easier compared to the awful VBA nonsense
