E90 M3 Driver sets Hill Climb Record [ RAW 4K ] Onboard

- Threw my camera into NoBar's E90 M3. Wasn't disappointed. He beat the time I set in the 323is and the Tesla's uphill record. Clean run but with relatively used V730s. Still room for improvement. Impressive, very nice. Lets see the Tesla's PB.

I love how he’s single laneing, not pushing past his limit and setting new records. Great example for the community. A couple people I know double lane and I don’t venture with them often because of it.
if you've got spotters,it's fair game,I'd argue it's more fun to double lane that way
Double laning with spotters is okay imo but people really need to learn that theirs a pretty good apex alone in the lines especially if you use the whole road, the way this guy is
Yet people still wish death and hardship upon him.
Double laning is almost a necessity where I live. A lot of corners have opposite camber, and the roads are barely skinny enough to fit a single car.
I do it only in my home turf because I know where it's safe to do so. I wouldn't do it in another area unless I had proper spotters.

have you ever seen tsuchi fd? he’s nowhere near as talented of a driver, but he runs a 3rd person pov from outside the car of his rx7. so cool to see it shoot flames and it feels like a video game

I like the e90 M3. BMW's early v8s were a little too lazy for my taste. But when the s65 came out in '07, I think it really came into it's own, commercially and performance wise. The whole exhaust has a crisp sound and a new throttle body design that gives it a big boost. It's been compared to the s85, but I think the s65 has a far more useable power band.

i love your editing style man. would love to know some recommended suspension settings considering you run the touge quite seriously. toe, camber, ride height, dampening, etc. I occasionally run the mountain with my 86 with pilot sport 4s, full suspension, wheels, and coilovers but always felt like I could push a little harder with some proper tweaking
I'm sure there are a lot of 86 track gurus that could help answer that question. Probably start with adding negative camber in the front. Maybe -2.5 to start.

@@mikemikeyee coilovers are just a style of suspension meaning the coilspring goes around the damper itself and usually they have a collar thats threaded where the spring sits so you can adjust ride height or spring rate

Thank you. A cinematic intro is what this run needed. Yes all new cars have annoyingly powerful headlights but it's even more apparent in this one because the camera is incredibly sensitive to light.

This is literally the dream life. No traffic, just beautiful mountain roads, engine sounds, and driving.
It's like this most nights after 9pm or so, but the later the better. Summer time night runs are the best

I wish I could drive like this. The fear of wildlife is to great where i live. Every 10 seconds I'd have to hard break for deer other things. I could only wish for this kind of freedom.

What’s your opinion on the DCT for driving on the limit?
It's usually just as fast if not faster than driving a manual transmission. Just not as good for drifting because no clutch kicking and handbrake.
bmw built the e9x m3 DCT in mind so the whole car is perfectly setup for it
