Hello Loves, welcome to my channel. This DIY is showing you step by step how make a faux mirror wall décor out of plates that I purchased for the Dollar Tree. I’m aware the silver plastic plates are in high demand but hard to find. However, Dollar Tree is putting their Christmas items out. I’ve already seen the silver plastic bowls so let’s keep our fingers crossed, lol.
If they don’t restock the plates be creative. Google “square plastic plates” or “square mini plates” or “Square mini dessert plates, You can also purchase clear square plates and spray paint the back of the plates with your favorite color and then when you turn the plate around and it shows through beautifully. Get be creative. With any DIY projects you see on CZcams you have to make it your “Own Kind of Beautiful”

Hanna Daily Life I was lucky enough to find them a long time ago but like you, I can’t find them anymore. Ive checked amazon and the options they have are not the same (the plates are significantly smaller for the same price). Maybe we will all get lucky this holiday season! ❤️

LOL!!! It's a year later and those plates are still M.I.A. I fell in love with LGQueens version too and I just gave up looking for the plates and I made my version with the smaller metallic bowls. I glued the matching napkin holders inside of each bowl. I love it, but I'm still going to get those damn plates!!!

I know this is old but thank you . You just help me confirm what my room color would look like. My colors are pink white and black but I already have off white walls and I wanted to change the color. I was wondering if a mid to dark gray would look good on the whole room, if not maybe an accent wall . But you just show me that it will look beautiful no matter how I do it. I see the colors mesh well together

Can't find these kinda plates from my dollar tree but I got the bowl ones instead and that came out nice but not beautiful as plates r !! Hopefully i find the plates and I'll definitely make like this for my living room

Tara I had a temper tantrum yesterday in my local dollar tree....I'm in Arkansas! so I walk in to pick up a few items and I see the silver bowls...my heart starts racing!! I run over and ask the manager... omg omg ma'am, I'm on the hunt for your silver square plates that we've been told are seasonal. after describing the plates and mid sentence she says, I had a box... eighty were in the box and a lady bought the entire box...so here's the tantrum...I scream "Whaaaaaat??? Jesus, Joseph and Mary!!!!!" I would have fainted but the floors are too dirty! lol....

Yep, that's all I can find but hopefully one of the two will be good enough for those of you who can hardly wait to make this. I never can find the silver plates, I have to shop online to be sure to get what I need cause too many is getting up to the DIY affects and buy up everything...lol.

This is simply stunning! I think yours is better than LGQUEEN. NOT TAKING FROM HERS, it’s beautiful too. I think the glass on each plate sealed it for me. I also like the style of plates you used better.

Thanks for the feedback. It's not my favorite as well. However, It's looks better in person and as I mentioned in the video. I was using recycled plates so I was trying to cover up some impressions in the plates with the stones, tfw

I went to a dozen Dollar Tree never found. I went to about three Walmarts and found them. They sell fast!

It was a two foam boards from the dollar three, I showed in the video what I used to mount the wall.
