If I am not wrong, the steam bread is Ma Lai Ko (steamed Malay cake) My daughter said Ipoh have the best Kai Si Hor Fun in the world 😆 because of the lime stone water, our bean sprout is so different, they are juicy and sweet

For Curry Chee Cheong Fun, normaly u can get it in chinese coffee shops with pork skin. However CCF in Ipoh tends to be more smooth and bouncy. Glad you guys enjoyed it.

That yellow traditional sponge cake is called Bahulu Betawi. My late grandma used to do it always, use a lot of eggs and sugar of course, some baking powder and a few drops of rose essence for that wonderful smell. Yes it's heavy and solid than the modern sponge cake
