I was there this afternoon. Couldn't get in so watched it clinging to a lamppost on a traffic island in the middle of the road. There were people watching from trees, standing on bus stops and everyone singing and grooving along. Awesome performances. I love this cast.
What this cast also does that much of the original West End cast didn't is they don't do the RADA-polished diction. They sound more faithful to the style in which the dialogue was written. If I have an issue, it’s that the ensemble is a bit white.
I love how when they sing "people shouting in the square" the audience screams soooo loud! That was such a wholesome moment. Schuyler sisters is so hype!
For those of you complaining, West End Live performances have a history of having horrible sound equipment. It has nothing to do with the performers. They can barely hear the music even with monitors because the mics are overpowering pretty much everything else. Watch the one for Heathers with Carrie Fletcher and you'll see what I mean.
For this year so far the worst for sound issues that I saw was: Cinderella, the track cut out but despite that Carrie still did amazingly and if she didn't go slightly off key during the bridge I wouldn't have noticed anything had happened.

Hamilton got me through all of 2020. It was really something I was able to focus on and cheer me up whilst the world was going through hell. This musical is so special to me. I've just found out I'm going 5 days before my birthday in January. I'm so overly emotional right now, currently anything Hamilton is making me cry. I honest cant wait to see this incredible cast

Simon Anthony-Rhoden (Burr) was my first and favourite Lola in Kinky Boots. I'm so happy I got to see him perform on CZcams and I hope to be able to watch him in theatre

A testament to our (young) contemporary performers and to the insane, incredible material. The Schuyler Sisters make me crazy--that harmony! I'd go to London just to see this cast!
i saw this cast perform in the west end a few weeks back and i just have to say that it was one of the most powerful performances i have ever seen in my life i’m so happy i got to see them
Saw the show early Feb 2022 and pretty much listen to the soundtrack almost every day, I'm obsessed. This cast were amazing, although we saw Jay Perry as Burr and Nuno Queimado as Lafayette / Jefferson and both were incredible. I am hoping to book tickets again for August. If I lived closer to London I would happily go and see this show every week :)
I watched Hamilton in the West End two days ago and it was PHENOMENAL. Definitely exceeded my expectations. The whole cast was brilliant, especially the actor that was playing Hamilton. I can’t wait to watch it again.
I went to Hamilton West End just 2 weeks before theatres closed, and have spent the last 18 months thinking about how lucky I was in hindsight. The Story of Tonight can get me very nostalgic - "raise a glass to freedom", if only I'd known! It's great to see the cast again though.
Wow, what a great cast. I thought that the original Broadway cast couldn’t be matched but they proved me wrong! Especially the Schuyler Sisters are amazing! I love them!
The energy, and clearly understanding every word and not being out of breath. This ensemble works very hard. Amazing performance. It's a great production. Keep inspiring.
I need to see this cast asap!!! The sound equipment was awful but they powered through to still make it sound amazing. Everyone knows the OBC but this cast sound amazing too. Need to sweet talk my manager into letting me book a few days off for a London theatre weekend 🤣👌🥰
I really love this performance and literally cried when the music just started. It reminds me of that night when I was in the Victoria Palace to enjoy the show in person. Thank you all guys for bringing the excitement and joy again : ) Really want to see you guys in the theatre again!
