My husband is a disabled veteran and we live off his VA pension. We both love to trash pick and dumpster dive. My husband likes tools of all kinds and we both love movie's. Good heart warming movie's, western's, horror, family movie's too. I sew and paint and repair nik naks and porcelain dolls. We both like making shadow boxes so we collect tiny furniture dolls and animals for shadow boxes. We really enjoy watching your videos.
Maybe you guys will win the giveaway in my family can send you all some cool stuff! You and your husband sound like exceptional people! The shadow boxes you guys make, do you sell them?

Adam you need to find yourself a good jacket so you won't freeze your but of and don't get sick. And get some shoes to dumpster dive with, cause getting into dumpsters will ruin your normal footwear and risk getting cuts from sharp objects 😳🥺

You really need to find a coat before you get sick please, if I could I would send you one along with some warm gloves, nice copper find!! 5 Below dumpsters are cool, we used to dive the goodwill and found a bunch of really good stuff and helped outfit a friends little girl with a whole new wardrobe (which she really needed and parents couldn't afford) LOVE your fur baby too, mine is a chaweenie and yes she wears cloths because she wants to, vet said it was a security thing with her plus she gets cold very easily. Keep up the good work and the good dives, remember to stay warm please!!!

She always wants to be in the middle of everything, even coming with us every time we go to the bathroom. German Shepherds are such cuddly love bugs.
Yes, he may have thought we were stealing his food LOL. The problem with German Shepherds is they are huge but they think they're cats. Yes Myla is constantly trying to follow Staci into the bathroom. She is a very sweet dog, too sweet if you ask me LOL

Now about me I'm 64 year old disabled. In 1973 I was a Master Mechanic then I hurt myself back condition then I worked for Auto Zone for 19 years. I retired and disabled around 2004. 15 years ago I would go Curb Surfing pick up furniture and clean up and repaired it then I sold on Craigslist. When bed bugs showed up I shut down Curb Surfing. Now I'm subbed to at least 30 Scrappers basically I watch videos 8-10 hours a day. I have Alzheimers or Early Onset Dementia. I try to do something every day I won't lay down for my death. I'm a container gardener my backyard is filled with containers also I grow trees from seed then I give them away on Nextdoor. 2 years ago I gave away over 350 baby trees. My wife is still working in our house she is a Medical Coder. My daughter's live Oregon and Washington and I have 15 year grandson. I guess I'm done now.
Thank you for sharing part of your story James. It's good to know a little about you. What do you like to Garden? Stacy and I like to grow our own food too. We have been experimenting with raised beds as well. So much less work isn't it? This past year everything we grew did pretty well except for two tomatoes we had 10 plants and didn't get but three tomatoes. I know a lot of people didn't have luck either though. I think it was the crazy weather we had. Hoping we can do a little better next year I suppose we'll see.
@@curbsidejunkies my garden keeps me alive. I have try to anything to do something in the garden. I have a garden for over 20 years. I started in backyard lawn my lawn is clay didn't work. Then I tried 5 gallons buckets in tomatoes it's fair. I found tree containers put inexpensive dirt in it so that was better. For last 7 years I use Miracle Gro potting mix it's great! Last spring I growed Jumbo Jalapenos, Crookneck squash, Broccoli, Spinach, Beets, Plobanos peppers, Dragon Cayennes peppers, Strawberries, Cucumbers, and Tomatoes. I only use Celebrity Tomatoes they can take Texas heat and humidity. They stop growing tomatoes when temperature goes over 95° when fall coming on they will give me another of crop. When winter arrives I pick green tomatoes, I wrap one with newspaper ( just white and ink no color) and do all of tomatoes in a cardboard box. I put box out in my garage which is cool and dark. When I want tomatoes I pull few of them and put on my breakfast table with sun glows on the table 3-4 days we have red tomatoes. Last spring I had 14 Jalapenos I got over 250 lbs of them. Bugs eat a lot of my squash plants, I probably got 60-70 lbs but I had 24 plants should got 200 lbs.
Squash bugs are terrible in our area! Stacy would go out every evening with rubber gloves on and squish the eggs and the adult bugs. She was able to keep all of the plants alive. But it was a lot of work. I feel like you should start your own CZcams channel about gardening. Sounds like you've got a strong passion for it and you can help others with it. I know I would watch!
@@curbsidejunkies I don't have a computer or no skill to anything on a computer. I have Smartphone it is smarter than me. Lol! But is true. When come people get my Baby Trees they are see backyard garden. I have few new friends then I spread my wisdom to my friends and vegetables too. I always have extra veggies especially Jalapenos. I feed wife's Mexican church, three families and several neighbors even drug dealer across the street. Lol!
Well that drug dealers awful lucky you don't discriminate! Hahaha! As far as the the no computer goes, mr.scrapity uses only a smartphone and does pretty good. Either way I'll be bringing my questions if I have any to you regarding growing food, if that's okay. Speaking of peppers. Staci makes some delicious pepper relish. Man that's good.

I've done a little diving in Waco and the past. It's so ridiculous that they have deemed it illegal two trash pick. Makes absolutely no sense to me at all. I'll bet they give you a hefty fine to don't they? Sorry suckers...

I've only been diving in that area a couple of times. Staci been wanting to go back but I keep telling her I don't want to get in trouble. I have been confronted a couple of times but not by police. Only property managers who asked me to leave. Luckily they didn't call the cops LOL
@@curbsidejunkies we took her again real quick the dumpster were empty she was upset but I told her no more I can't afford a fine not working and it's hard for us but she wrapped all she found for Christmas gifts. She's just 14 and her brother is 15 I've had them since they were baby's. One thing about her is she is such a kind hearted kid & very loveable.

Yes we actually did in this video. Is this video we checked to CVS stores and one Aldis. Aldi's was the one that the owl was at. There's usually a bunch of nasty meat in all these so I don't dig very much. And the CVS store is really good about destroying all of their food.
