I have a cane corso, he isnt the biggest one but his saggy lips are what makes it hard to find a correct fitting muzzle. Thank you for this!

I have dilemma. German Shepard length 10cm around 30. Better number 4 or 5 and 3 finger underneath and 1 finger on the side.

Thxs for the vid😊 my Mali did who knows what on the farm and ripped his cruciate ligaments off. He went for the opp to fix it, but destroyed both cones I had somehow to keep him from ripping out his stitches. Going to try a muzzle now on him. Ps you have a beautiful GSD

Poor baby- if it is an ACL or MCL it is very painful. I tore completely ACL-no surgery - and it has taken me six months of therapy to learn to walk again. If I had had surgery it would have been 10-12 months.

Great video! Thanks for sharing. I have German Shepherd of 117lbs and having a hard time to find the right muzzle. I have presently the ultra Baskerville muzzle size 5 but I find it too short for his nose and too big on the side.

Long shot as you posted this two years ago.. but did you ever find anything? I also have a GS and I find the Size 5 to be close but it's also too short in the nose. I tried molding it with hot water but it didn't even seem to change shape.

Where can I buy the muzzles with just that one strap like you demonstrated that would be so much easier for me all depending on if the dog can not eat off the ground and can breathe and and eat treats and not bite people

Hi! I am the founder of Muzzled Misfits, a muzzle education and advocacy group.
The first muzzle is actually a more proper fit than the second muzzle. It is also important to note Baskerville muzzles can be molded/modified to fit better and that they are NOT bite proof. :)

Thanks for that! My GSD rub’s his nose on everything with the knitted muzzle and his nose has started bleeding. From a cut. Will the rubber one take care of this?

Hello I have a question to ask you and I'm hoping you can answer it? I had taken my boxer / mutt who is 56 pounds, very healthy, to the groomers. I know they used a muzzle. Two days later there was a ticking sound that instantly started. Every time he was breathing there was a ticking sound. I would like to know if they are rough and handled my dog very roughly can it hurt his windpipe?? The ticking sound was exactly two days after I left the groomers. Ot came out of nowhere. So putting a muzzle on my dog if they are rough with him can it hurt him?? Thank you so much

I have bully with a wide jaw, basket muzzles dont fit him well since his jaw to snout ratio is so different. His right now is to large, he easily kicks it off. But the next size down is too small and leaves no finger space. What should I try? Hes worn this size muzzle for years and we've never had an incident. Shoukd we just leave the size hes at?

I went to my vet today and the lady forced the muzzle tight on him when it was too small. His head was facing down the whole time and started hacking after we left. Any advice can you give? I wasn’t able to try measuring with my fingers but she was having a hard time putting it on him so that’s how I knew.

@@agentshadycia258 The chances of the dog being traumatized by this are rather high tho. Why force a muzzle on a dog if you can put a well fitted one on him? Just causes extra unnecessary stress.

I recommend you bringing your own muzzle. So you can properly fit it beforehand.

Never let them muzzle your dog. Vets and Humane Society around here insist the owner muzzle their dog. If they can muzzle the dog for you there's no point in needing a muzzle.
