Through some trial and error, I think I found a pretty solid way to mic up to the exhaust on my BMW 340i with the B58 engine. The B58 just has such an aggressive tone, and that single turbo whistle and whip cracking burbles may be my favorite part 😆. My exhaust is straight piped leading to a Remus muffler section. I also display my burble settings if you want to go for a similar sounding setup. Let me know what you all think of sound! Thanks for tuning in 🙏🏼

I was starting to think i was the only one who thinks these burble cars are out of hand. I’ve heard decent B58’s and I’ve heard un-muffled B58’s. One bang for a shift is fine but when it’s a wall of bangs on deceleration it’s completely obnoxious.
Haha def gets obnoxious at times. Yeah the XHP tune does the throttle blipping on downshifts, but it can be turned off

Sounds good, but I think the resonator will tame the Droning and raspiness you’re getting. It’ll refine it just a tad.
Yeah definitely, only deleting one of the resonators could have been a better move 🤔. The drone really isn’t bad though, more just the raspy and high tone whip cracks haha. Still fun though
Damn i miss my stage 2 m140i, specially with the XHP software, shifts are so violent in sport plus!
Violent indeed lol. Had to go back to stage 2 xhp, stage 3 was a bit much for daily

I used to not care.. and it used to matter more.. there really isn’t a reason to run catless in a street car anymore. These cars make almost the same power with a high flow cat and you don’t trash the environment as badly, have soot on your bumper or smell exhaust fumes.
@@JordanC717Wrong. Catless makes a significant difference in power gains because the air flow restriction is removed. And get over the idea of cars "trashing" the environment you brainwashed goon. Emissions are the most weaponized fake bullshit and completely misrepresented in the "save the planet" rhetoric. Go buy an EV then, I'm sure you think those are great for the environment 🤡

Makes the car so much more fun to drive! Also taking the car to a muffler shop and having them delete any resonators in the midpipe opens it up for cheap.Thanks man 🙏🏼

Sounds awesome! Is there a noticable delay difference for manual shifts with XHP stage 2 vs stage 3? Also that delay in comfort mode seems annoying, I have no idea why anyone would want that 😅
Thanks for tuning in! Definitely a little annoying but I’ve learned to adjust to the timing lol. And yeah there’s a slight difference in sport modes. I made a previous video on flashing to stage 2 and then another going to stage 3 and comparing the two

I did not delete the ASD, I can’t hear the difference when I’m driving. The mic was on the outside of the car too

Yes and no lol. Fully catless is for track only. Certain states here don’t have inspections. So a lot of ppl do run catless.
Hey bro really appreciate the detailed videos. That sound was from the outside right? It sounded a bit too much to be the in-cabin sound. I have a VRSF Catless dp and was looking at the Remus full cat back Remus exhaust. Would you recommend it? does it drone in the cabin in comfort?
Yeah the mic was in tow hook compartment on the rear bumper haha. I’d highly recommend that setup. No drone when valve is closed and only slight drone on highway with valve opened

There’s only a delay when I’m shifting manually in comfort mode. Sport and sport+ is very instant

Remus muffler. So something but not much. It makes the entire sound a little more refined since my car is catless and no resonators in midpipe
