Man when I tell you i'm smiling watching this interview. These guys(Lench mob) was like a hard version of X Clan or PE of the West Coast. JD was hard, that whole group was. That WC madd circle album is a underground gem. A diamond in the ruff album. You can play that album today. Gorillas in The Mist was a movie. Conscious to a degree but harder. It was before it's time and reminds me of Goodie Mob Soul Food album as far as 4 guys coming with rough, edgy and conscious style. I can remember being in high school when I read in the Source and Fresh magazine that JD got locked up and was shocked cause it really didn't give a huge backstory to the incident. Then I remembering reading he got like 25 yrs an I was shaking my head, I knew then the Lench Mob was over. That next album was definitely missing him and his element.

I was standing right there! No cap! I saw Suge fire on Krazy D (though I thought he was white at the time, and I also thought he was with CMW, not NWA. But I guess I was mistaken). Busted his shit wide open. Was backstage, was standing directly behind Cube when Hutch stole him. Whole sh!t was crazy. I still got the ticket stub somewhere, but not the backstage pass. The show was Above the Law, Low Profile, CMW, and Gang Starr (yeah, I know. One of these things is not like the rest.) Backstage were Kokane, JJ Fad, Michel'le, Suge (as D.O.C.'s bodyguard), The D.O.C., Bud Bundy from Married with Children.
FACTS! I was there too. And bud Bundy got BARS!

This past week i been finding out the OG west rappers is still out here with some recent music. Spice 1, Kam, Eiht, RBX, Crooked I. I was disappointed in rap so i left it alone and i went back to the Purple Rain era and before.

Straight up, Even Solo know Cube saved his broke ass and put him and Kam on but they turned on him like Cube is supposed to be their daddy and handle every little thing for them.
