PPID directly affects the health of the mane, tail, and overall coat. Normally this horse would have been brushed out to get rid of the old coat. This year, the horse had not been brushed out yet because it was doing so well shedding on its own.

I have 22 horses currently...one with ppid....his fat Mets are ok but we have to closely monitor his blood sugars... we've had scares where we found him sweating in his stall
It's like walking on egg shells some days
