52 weeks in a yr multiply hours of contract divided by 12 (months in a year) so,what u get here wil be paid as a basic salary every month.

2 person salary is must to live as a family in this country .My husband earns more than me and I am a band 6 nurse and our savings max is £1000 a month..Bills,mortagage,insurance is damn expensive here.So if quality of life and a decent living is your aim pls come here.A lavish and tax free life is your dream pls do check out other countries 😀

When you say saving just think those who live here with family they are living here to live not for saving.Like in our country we are concentrating more to live than saving.How much an average family in India can save? Same way an average family in here also can live.We have a lot of expenditure here according to the relationship with friends , families ,work colleagues,Malyalee and Indian associations,Baptisam,marriages,funerals,Onam,Vishu ....... etc. SO need to consider loan and credit cards as another income.Whenever you earn more with high band salary or with overtime you have give more tax also. Its a good country to work but weather is not good for us in winter time. Pay rise is not completely depending on the appraisal. As per new agenda for change ( pay scheme) pay rise is only after every 2yrs .
Appraisal can be a factor in moving up the pay band. if any practitioner found to be not performing at expected level manager can stop u from going up .
Then about salary, if ur annual income is £25000 about 12500 is tax free. U will be taxed for rest of the amount in one year. Ur deduction in salary is ur tax , national insurance and nhs pension.
