I cant help but to comment that you are a rare gem honest seller! I went to so many digital lock stores and they told me all brands are the same, ask about each brand problems, they say they have never face problems with digital locks before (which is untrue). Can I also please get your opinion on which one you would recommend. I don't think I require wifi since I won't let anyone in without me being at home but biometric is needed.
Are these ones ok? The bottom two has wifi, which maybe overkill but just thought I consider it as well.

Samsung DR 708 vs Philips 9200 or 9300 (I read from the comments that you recommended the 9300 over 708 but the 708 seems to be cheaper than the 9300 by RM700. Is it worth that additional?)
If there is cheaper but good ones at RM2k and below for a push/pull handle type for condo firedoor, can you please recommend also?

708 got 2 version, a small locking version and a strong locking version. I think if differ RM700 should be the small locking version. I definitely do not agree spending above RM2000 for a weak locking system, no matter how advance the digital part is.
Push pull below 2K, try for Hafele. But you will get more plastic. And there will be no spare part support.
For all the price difference, there are certainly differences. Cheap but good ones, certainly there are some compromise somewhere hidden

Hello, I watched your video and your replies in the comments section, you are a very helpful person but too bad I live in West Malaysia. I am looking for a digital lock for my grille door. Gap is big enough to put hand to unlock from inside if I choose a wrong product. I notice you recommend Philips 515K. However, when I read the user manual, it is so easy to reset everything including the master code by removing the back cover and pinch the reset button. Till now, I can't find a flawless product except some local brand that provide panel and fingerprint reader at both side. What would you recommend? Also these products use built-in battery (rechargeable) and not normal AA battery which I am not sure how troublesome to charge the battery as it is installed at the grille. Battery replacement is another concern. Looking forward your reply. Thanks in advance.

I am looking for a biometric digital lock for my metal grille gate. Looking for quality and sturdiness as I have 4 sons who can be q rough with things. Need to register 100 fingerprints, with card, pin code, (optional key), if possible, preferably a mobile app that I can control gate lock from other locations via WiFi. thank you for helping!
One lock seller told me - Schlage S-510g gate lock has a technical flaw that i should be aware of - the fingerprint memory will be erased automatically every 2 to 3 weeks. Did u encounter the same? I was originally looking for Schlage brand but can't find anything for gate yet.

Hi! For an old couple of early 60, what would you recommend to them? ….. All we expect are reliable both on electronic and hardware with user friendly. Accessing the door with card and keys would be our primary needs. Of course, if other features are included would be great, such as Bluetooth or password. Am I make sense?
I will recommend add on. Maintain your existing, just add a digital on top.
Usual time, don't have to lock the ordinary. But night time sleeping and for long vacation, u can have double locking.
Samsung, yale or schlage will do. For samsung and yale, don't choose fingerprint will be fine

Hi informative and compact video. Just hope that you did a more thorough reviews of each model. Question, what about Xiaomi aqara door lock? Any experience with them?
Xiaomi we installed few. Nice feature and body. But wiring and the connector used is different from other lock, feels weaker. Suitable for security door (because hollow inside and plenty space for the wire. For solid wooden door, we want to be careful a bit (cannot repair, no spare part remember)
So if security door, yes recommended. Wooden door, we cannot give any suggestion as we do not have it long enough yet.
Also, Aqara is not xiaomi. Just that it can use xiaomi app. Aqara is a china brand not related to xiaomi.
Based on the review, Xiaomi has its pros and cons but overall you should give it a shot

Cannot compare wo. Price is different. Type also different. One is lever. Another is Push Pull.
Both is a good lock and stable. So you can choose based on design you liked

Double door, rim lock will not be strong. Guarantee you 3 kick max, can go in.
But if you have a main lock already, and just to add on another digital, go for YDR3110 will last longer. YDR4110 fingerprint module many headache

Some more expensive. But yes it's a good reliable long lasting lock

Abrain 15s is Semi-auto. Is a bit different from other brand. But build quality is there. Feels heavy and long lasting. I heard got one seller AHD (dono where located) really really good and fast servicing.

YDR50GA with YDD424A. Only get the "A" version. Non "A" is having fingeprint short life-span problem

In the past 5600 got some persistent problem with their back setting switch. Not sure if they have solved that. 8100 should be no problem

MW140 we already installed few. Material wise is very good. Stainless steel. System stability some issue.
If first month no problem, it will be good for many years. But If got even small minor glitches, must get whole body warranty (don't change parts only).
I heard they already have new model with improved stability issue (shape is more round). So maybe try wait not urgent.
How about Yale YDM 7116A sir ?? Any experience with the product ?
