It was people at the open bar with seating facing the stage. I unfortunately was right in front of them. A barrier tent separated the open bar from minors & the stage open area. My mike was facing foward. Im sorry if you could hear them.
With no doubt people who were talking while performance is so rude, but that is not a perfect place to performance this song after all. This song is kind of relax (or heavy feeling), a concert is not a perfect place to sing this song. I am not mean to judge her it's a great performance at all
Thanks for posting Brian. I was at this concert in Oceanside, CA, in particular to see Katelyn, and some other CZcams music singers as well. It is a free concert each year as part of the Supergirl Pro Surfing Contest. Katelyn arrived late and in a bad mood, having been delayed in Saturday afternoon gridlocked traffic on the I-405 for hours. But even on a good day, Katelyn isn't the most personable artist and doesn't like meeting with fans. But she is a very talented and pretty singer songwriter actress and puts on a good show, and I enjoy going to see her when she does perform at clubs in Los Angeles. As far as prople talking in the background, that unfortunately is the problem with every music club and concert in America today, paid or free, particualry if it is standing general admission. Everyone in the back of the crowd rudely ignores the show and carries on loud conversations. If the perfomer would stop the show and ask the audience to be quite, it does work, but 99% of artits won't do it. The real fans who came to see her would appreciate it, and the ones in back that are talking will never buy her music anyway, so I wish more artists should do it. If this was a live concert video produced by the artist, they would have recored the stage sound system and you would not hear the crowd. But a fan's recording camera filmed from the audience does pick up all the surrounding audio noise and conservations.
Thanks for addressing other viewer's comments. Just wanted to make it clear that where I was standing there was an alcohol serving sponsored viewing tent right behind me. Positioning my equipment unfortunately put me smack in front of & in the middle of that viewing tent. I suggested to the venue organizers that by placing a tent on the stage floor obstructs the stadium seating right behind the tent. Luckily the venue organizers realized that & now no more tents block the seating area. Everyone has a chance to enjoy the show in the wide open seating. Yes live venues does pose a problem & you cant tell people to be quiet. We're all there to have a good time. Last year, a surfer dude was holding a surfboard UPRIGHT in my recording line of sight! Imagine my horror. Fortunately he was just stopping briefly, checked out the music, & moved on (his merry way)😄 I saw Katelyn in an intimate concert venue & yes, she enjoyed the setting & really connected with her fans saying "This is the best show ever [San Francisco 2018]" I hollered, "Encore!" She replied, "I wish."😂 Most importantly, thank you & the many other viewers for watching my videos. Enjoy!
