    I’ve followed him for 20 years and he’s grown musically and n performance he’s lacking but we Jhabvala to put up with it

    Saw him twice in Jim Thorpe at Penn's Peak about 20 years apart.. Good shows both times, his looks certainly changed. First time was with his original group ( clear crisp sound ) and the second with the much expanded band.. Excellent musicians but more is not necessarily better. As noted, he does talk too much though the first time around it was tolerable and much shorter..

    Is he drunk? What's with all that gabbing?? His vocal control is noticeably weak in the first verse surprisingly. I don't understand the need for not just two but three damn guitars. I guess he needed them as singers but needed to put a wooden box in their hands to make 'em look needed.

      Years ago it was common to have a bass, rhythm and lead guitar.. banjo, mandolin and fiddle were treasured additions to a local jam...
