    I've had my SR38 for quite some time now. It is an excellent revolver.
    The trigger has gotten smoother over time, I think it's as good as any OEM revolver trigger & it shoots reliably & accurately.
    The only negative thing I can say is the sights were way off from the factory. But with the fully adjustable rear sight, it did not take long to cure that. An exceptional revolver made by a company that has been making firearms for 5 generations.

    I have their CM9 Gen2, and just picked up their B6C, love them both, they are SOLID!!! But I do not have a revolver in my collection yet, so this SR-38 with 4" barrel is what I am looking for. I really want the stainless steel version, but if I can find the standard version anywhere, will probably go for it! Thanks for your review, it supports Sootch00's review of it, and now subscribed!

    Saw a gentleman at the range with a polished stainless one last weekend. Nice looking revolver. Even more impressive was that he had removed the rear sight and installed an ERGO rail with a Venom reflex sight. Very compact setup with the line of sight closer to the bore axis than any other revolver mount I've seen.

    This revolver has been on my radar for a long while now.I especially like the large grip,as where the grip on my EAA Windicator feels kind of small and when shooting the hotter 357 rounds,it feels like it wants to come out of my hand,and no one makes replacement grips for the Windicator that I can find.

    • @springbloom5940
      @springbloom5940 Před 5 lety

      EAA sucks a bucket of dicks. Bought a Witness Steel that came out of the box, with a crack in the slide(last time I pay for something before I see it) and they wanted *me* to spend $50 to ship it back and labor to fix it. They wouldn't budge, so it went into the 'surrender' bucket. Never again, with EAA.

      It seems like a good revolver for a budget 357mag. I prefer the taurus tracker 7shot 357mag with the 4in barrel. It never hurts to have an extra 357mag round in the cylinder. But this revolver looks solid and is probably accurate with the heavy frame. I prefer a heavier revolver for accurate shoots, because the weight reduces recoil. Same with my taurus tracker 357mag, and my revolver has a ported barrel that helps too. If they made this with a ported barrel I might get one.

And to you clowns boycotting sarsilmaz I suggest that you stop shopping all together because everything in this country is made in China and China has committed major atrocities toward Humanity in the last 500 years, and to this day they persecute and murder those who believe in the Lord Jesus, bibles aren't allowed either.

    Ok, listen to an old guy that was trained on a revolver in 1987 by the Sheriffs Dept. Academy. Reload by switching the revolver to your left hand. After transferring to your left hand push the cylinder latch with right thumb simultaneously pushing the cylinder out with your left middle and ring fingers. Using your left thumb push the cylinder rod with your left thumb. Also. You are turning the cylinder face down to the ground so that the brass falls freely. Make the gravity work for you not against you. You should now be reloading either with a single bullet or speed loader. Practice doing it without looking or looking as little as possible (keep your eye on the threat. DO NOT CATCH THE BRASS WITH YOUR RIGHT HAND!!!There would be consequences for that lazy training practice. You do not need that brass anymore, drop it. (this was emphasized, as a lot of dead Police Officers were found with a handful of brass in the 50's, 60's and 70's. They fought like they had trained when the SHTF). After reloading push the cylinder back in with the left thumb, switch to right hand, shoot or holster. Use your strong hand to reload, you are putting small bullets into small holes under great distress.

    I paid $369 for my Taurus M66 4" 7shot! I'm sure the quality of Taurus is twice what this is. Plus I don't like the look of the black! Looks like it will show every scratch. I'm not a Taurus fan but I think their revolvers are pretty solid and priced right and they have 7 and 8 shot revolvers.

      TheTeevo8 I really like the Tracker also! I want the 44mag in it. I also like the rubber grips!! I'm no Taurus auto fan but I do love their revolvers. Can't beat them for the price and quality.

    Hello my name is Rich. Using Donna's phone until I'm out of bed and healed up. Anyhow the understanding of Turkey is complicated too say the least. Along standing conflict with Greece. Even genocide in 1915. Rumors of the US backing Greece for an attack on Turkey. There are numerous videos on CZcams regarding this. Turkey and Russia have a very up and down relationship. What's the truth. You have too get behind closed doors too out. I'll stick with buying American for now. Ruger's security 9 looks impressive so far. When it comes too international politics, good luck.

    Why wouldn't i buy a canik tp9 vs this

    • @larry1754
      @larry1754 Před 6 lety +2

      The difference is that semi-auto firearms can have feed issues, failure to eject, things like that. A lot of things have to go just right with firing semi-autos. A revolver like this, or any revolver, will not have any of those problems, only problem might be with bad ammo, which also could easily happen with a semi-auto as well. I have two Caniks, TP9 Sa and TP9 V2, love them both, it's just that a revolver eliminates some of the potential issues with semi-auto guns. I'm thinking of picking up one of these SR38's to keep by my front door... just in case. No worrying about is there a round in the chamber, did I rack the slide, is the safety on or off? I would know that if I do have to pull that trigger, it will go BANG! Does that help you understand the difference?

      nukacola97 there are many lower cost 9mm handguns not many revolvers that are chambered in 357 magnum under 600 dollars
