However, being within the limits of a budget does not mean that you cannot get a good product for your self-defense. To the contrary. There are a lot of good options out there that can be had for just a few hundred dollars. It does not take long to find a good variety of guns that cost less then $400 and are ideal for concealed carry.

Cannot agree with #2, as Taurus has had numerous quality control issues and the manufacturer even says NOT to use +P ammo in the G2C. That's an indicator of its fragility and lack of durability.
Look, I’m an Advocate for the Budget firearm, do what you think is best. Training as you fight however cuz you don’t want unreliability to win in a Defensive Fight. Just cuz it’s budget does not mean it’s good. I recommend any of the Taurus Line up and yes Revolvers and Semi Autos. .380 has a Nack for the recoil sensitive but it’s a bit unreliable in terms of Power but I digress. Read Reviews and if none of the budget appeal, then save up a bit more there’s better firearms at 500 and up that are Vetted and have been tested through torture tests
From this list G2C all day yes I've owned one solid pistol
Smith EZ, worst gun for defense especially for new shooters. Take a defensive handgun course, where u draw from a holster and fire. MOST shooters do not fully engage the grip safety making gun not fire. watch countless videos on you tube.
A list of guns way better than the pile of trash that is the bodyguard.

@anitaalexander1689 I have a G3C, which I like a lot and is an excellent value. However, the GX4 is much better for carry than the G2C/G3.

The Bodyguard 380 is a POS as it is unreliable! I had one and put about 1,300 rounds through it. I had a 5-10% failure to fire with it with Blazer brass ammo. With the right ammo, the failure to fire rate is less. I would never trust my life to that gun. I sold it. I have a Ruger LCP Max with 10 and 12 round magazines for roughly the same size as the Bodyguard. It has a superior trigger and reliability over the Bodyguard.
Don’t cheap and go buy a gun to make a review. Otherwise you are just talking bs. Have a nice day!!!
