Thank you for this video. I like the fact that you recorded it in real time and did not skip around. Other videos on CZcams claim to be reviewing or setting up this grill but they are using the Spirit II E-210. You are correct in that this is the Spirit E-210 - not the II model. We have had this grill for several years and while the grill itself is still good, the stand, which is painted metal, is rusting. It sits on our deck in the weather but is under a full grill cover. The base especially has rusted. We don't get snow in South Alabama but we do get a lot of rain and we have high humidity. I've ordered another grill like this and when it comes I will put it together. Lowe's would assemble it free but... I'm retired (70 years of age), and bored, and wanted a little project to do. Also, I will place all the painted metal parts on a plastic sheet on a table. I'll then spray them with a clear coat, at least 2 coats. I would suggest all you do-it-yourselfers do this. Metal parts are powder coated (all manufacturers do this). That means a positive charge is applied to the paint and a negative charge is applied to the metal. The paint is then drawn to the metal. Looks great but it is thin. The clear coats will help protect these painted surfaces. Again, thank you for this video. A very good step-by-step guide.

This is without a doubt one of the best (if not THE best) how-to videos I have seen. All methodical and step by step, clear, concise, and no wasted words! Wish you were in my neighborhood, I would certainly hire you and not try to do it myself! But, I am gonna get my 81-year-old butt out there and try it. If all else fails, I will try and find a competent handyman such as yourself!

Thanks man, that saved me some work. The only thing I'll add for other not so handy guys like myself is when you put the braces on for the fold down shelves, you may have to push in on the sides to get them to go over the bolts. And the bags of screws, bolts, etc. are, of course, in the bottom of the box on the backside of the grill lid. My only concern with the grill is the knobs are plastic, which means when they get hot, they'll get brittle, and break off. All ovens do this now, I've replaced the knobs on mine twice in 2 years. Thanks again for the video, it was really appreciated.

Thankyou for posting this vid. Great job explaining how to put this machine together. I have the same e 210 and the plastic grey end caps to the control panel melted little bit underneath and wanted to replace them. Weber does not have them separate but I had to buy the whole front control panel. And with your video, I now know how to replace it with the 2 small screws under the knobs and two other at each corner. Thanks again😃🤙

I’m embarrassed for Weber that the plastic pieces couldn’t be purchased without buying the whole panel. Somewhere in an assembly factory there is a giant bin of plastic pieces that some worker installs that can easily be put in a mailing envelope and shipped for very little $ and very little waste.
