Mark Collie and The Dogs!!! Fantastic band name!! I was sitting in a little live music bar in Nashville, around 93 or so, listening to trio group. I was just about to leave, when the front door flew open and walking fairly quickly was Mark Collie. I thought somebody was chasing him!!! Lol... He took a seat at the bar, ordered a drink and Sat and listened to this trio group. I hung around a little while longer and eventually introduced myself to him. We talked for better part of an hour. A very kind and knowledgeable guy. He had some very interesting takes on music biz in general. Glad I got to meet him.
I remember when this song first came out, back in 1990. Country was still country back then. Remember, this is lik 4 years before we saw the likes of Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Shania Twain and a long line of Pop/Country artists who ruined the whole genre. Suffice to say, it's sad that Country music @ least the real traditional kind we all grew up with and listened to, will never be headed again except hear on You Tube.
