And yes, you have to be stubborn not to see that this isn't a cover, even dough a cover isn't playing the song as it originaly was written but how you think the song should/could be played. But I do agree about the fact that this and the EVH has a lack of Artist soul originality

Mark Treomonti is not the vocalist.. Kirk Hammett is a really talented guitarist who couldve played solos through out the song but that would ruin it. Its a good cover.

In my opinion I liked the tribute but the parts that he stuck in himself were completely ill-fitting. They had no point in the song and it just sorta annoys me to say the least.

Man. MAB's Hands without Shadows 2 album sounds terrible. Both the Metallica and EVH tracks sound nothing like the artists he's covering. MAB has literally dozens of guitars and tens of thousands of dollars worth of equipment and yet I can get a better metallica sound than his with a squier strat and a roland cube 15x. I mean seriously. All that's mainly required is a distortion pedal and a guitar which has low mids and the mid EQ set to 0 to tune into metallica.
