    nice oneeeee, crazy about the weapons needed for the Crash, lets hope they do something about that

      I don’t think they’ve ever made an event easier after release

      I don't think Turks Crash was easier. Turks still did a lot of damage and were dangerous. It was just the Aegis phase in which players could sit for as long as they wanted while being safe, that made the battle easier. If that Aegis phase had any mechanics - a counter, Rude would start charging a big attack and we'd have to deplete it in time (like in this Gallonbaloir), etc. then Turks Crash would have been much harder.

    I also thought the new towers looked pretty intimidating at first but they were surprisingly easy as a vet. I even managed to beat tower 3 with just my Matt Glenn and Lucia because my seph was already 80 and I even forgot he was an option. I only had the stream sword at ob1 from upgrading a 4* copy with blueprints but I know I could’ve beaten it even without that. Managed to kill ramuh right as his adds were coming up and didn’t even have to use the summons I brought to wipe them. For vets they should be totally doable but newer players will take a while to get everyone else leveled.
    I agree the crash seems way overturned. Even as someone with an ob6 floral wand it doesn’t seem possible without Matt’s centipede which I don’t have. I tried boosting my aeriths earths resist to tank the meteors since she’s the easiest one to get high Earth resist on main handing fairy tale (we have only 3 weapons with boost earth resist). Even if I tank all the meteors with her and survive, floral wand needs to have her hp over 50% to apply wind resist down, so then she can’t apply the debuff needed when he goes into the wind resist phase immediately after all the meteors. That means I need to bring a second healer/ support unit to get her back up to speed fast enough, but then I don’t have enough wind dps to take down the bar anyway with my seph alone. I probably could do it if I had the new banner weapon, but pulling on a banner just to beat one crash doesn’t make any sense.

      Agree. Towers looked very intimidating and scary but turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. And congrats on clearing the last tower without Sephiroth!
      Yeah. I really don't like how insanely restrictive this crash is. It's just too many restrictions and requirements compared to previous crashes. For both Sephiroth and Turks we had so many options and characters we could have chosen for our team. Here? The opposite, need wind dps, a tank with is ideally Nanaki or Aerith at minimum ob6 (still not ideal because she'll only debuff wind resistance if above 50%hp) but with a lot of pdef and earth resistance and she needs to be a healer because Matt won't get enough atb fast enough to heal. And of course Matt with Centipede. I only saw a very few people with veyr strong teams clear Crash with Aerith, everyone else would use Nanaki even with his Silver collar at ob1.
      Agree. Same for me - pulling on the banner just to have a chance to clear Crash isn't worth spending around 30k crystals.

    Yea this Crash is crazy. I have one copy of each Red/Seph wpn but I'm not going any further to get Seph skin, not worth and I don't need it anyway. Kindve insane. I'll try for co-op but for solo idk

    Are you saying you can't beat it because you are not summoning on the new Sephiroth banner? Did you skip Yuffie's wind arcanum banner from a while back? It kinda worries me if you can't beat it with or without the new banner, because I have Nanaki's silver collar and Yuffie's wind costume and weapon and I'm now realizing the possibility that I am not gonna be strong enough either...

    • @End7essness
      @End7essness  Před měsícem +1

      I lack the required weapons and yes, I skipped Yuffie's arcanum. Yuffie's arcanum is the least of my problems because my Sephiroth is fine - but his new banner weapon would give him a significant dmg increase (20% patk increase, up to 30% wind dmg increase). I don't have any weapon to nullify that wind resistance buff - my floral wand is only 5* (does wind res down with only low potency) and I'd need it at ob6 to have upgraded ability but then Nanaki's new banner collar is much better suited for this because even below ob6 it already inflicts wind res debuff at mid potency while also being able to break sigils, so it's much more superior than Aerith's Floral Wand. Having Centipede at ob6 would be great/required because it'll allow for high potency pdef buff.
      And of course, at the beginning of the battle Gallonbaloir hits you with meteorites that can 1-shot a character, so need to have a secondary Cura on another character (since Matt won't have enough ATB to recover quick enough between those meteories) - those meteorites do Earth dmg, so you may need to stack up Fairy Tale/Cloud's Crystal sword, etc. to survive these. That means you need them overboosted enough as well. And of course have some high pdef stats on characters.
      You may be strong enough for this battle - depends on your team, weapons and how far overboosted they are. For me, even if I pulled on the banner I would still need some significant upgrades on many other weapons, so realistically I have no chance.

      @@End7essness Ah I see. Thanks for all that. I don't think I can beat this. I have all the necessary equipment, but the key ones are just shy of OB6. I guess even with beating all the hardest bosses so far including leviathan EX 2.. I gotta call it quits on this one. I'll just beat the co-op crash with my Matt.
      It's kind of funny how I used to think having stuff like Kuja's blade is what makes an account powerful. I didn't understand how significant the raw stat boosts were with having all OB6+ premium weapons were or how big the jump in potency is on something like dinner tray OB4 vs. OB6 is.

    • @End7essness
      @End7essness  Před měsícem

      From what I've seen you could get away with having ob1-5 Centipede, same as Nanaki's new banner collar. Wind dps just needs to do a lot of dmg.
      Yeah. For months Kuja was amazing. Even in last Turks Crash Kuja was amazing. And now recently it feels like bosses resist magic, so we can't use Sephiroth or they are immune to attack debuffs, so we have to go strongly into defense.
      Yeah. Raw stats on weapons are one thing. But most superior upgrades are those command abilities on ob6 - for most weapons it's the most crucial upgrade. And then ob10 for dps weapons. There is no bigger upgrade in the game than these.

    I feel the same way about trying to get us to spend on the banners I also think they made the turks crash a little to easy so in their mind they be thinking well alot of ppl beat the last one so let's up the difficulty on this one also seems like they are trying to get us to spend on stamina to we used to get a bunch for free but now we barely get anything and the new ranking system costing stamina kinda confirms it for me atleast.

    • @End7essness
      @End7essness  Před měsícem

      I don't like this way of pressuring us to spend on the banners but also I can't agree about Turks crash being too easy. Only thing that made it relatively easy/doable for a lot of people was that Aegis phase in which we could sit for as long as we wanted to. Otherwise Turks did a lot of dmg and were dangerous - if they only made this Aegis phase have any mechanics, for example us having to deplete it in time because Rude would start charging a powerful attack like Gallonbaoir does, any type of counter or other mechanics. This one change would have made Turks crash a lot harder.
      Hm. We are still getting same amount of stamina tonics every day. We just have now more things to farm if we want to - 2 events, Shiva&Leviathan with their Noble memories, and also now lvl80 cap increase. But they're giving us just as much stamina as in the past.

    Have to disagree on difficulty - the game has became progressively very easy in the last months and you are not considering the facts that you get 2k HP when you go lvl 70 > 80 and fill the streams. Than you have Highwind Collection which even for F2P gives between 10-15% increase on ALL stats including damage. It was about time they add more challenging fights and its fully in the norm that Crash to be defeated only by best setups and most powerful account. EX2 / EX3 are there for everyone else.
    Share the sentiment on the new Wind items - very concerning "timing" to release them.. But you can see EC is on a down-spiral - they are trying to stop it from dying but of course Applibot are incompetent we all know that - so they do 1 step forward and 2 backwards as that is what they do best.
    Unless SE gives the game to a much more competent studio to run and manage EC - there are plenty of clear indicators that players are dropping EC in thrives and getting them back aint happening.

    • @End7essness
      @End7essness  Před měsícem +1

      I am aware of us getting Highwind and it being a big boost and now +10 levels as well.
      My issue is not the difficulty but it's the first Crash that has very strict requirements and restrictions. In previous crashes we could have used majority of the characters. Here we literally need Matt with Centipede, Nanaki with Collar from newest banner and then we can choose 3rd wind dps, so Sephiroth/Tifa/Yuffie. This is what I personally don't like.
      For whales Crashes are always easy. You could watch any whale clear Crash - either this one or any previous one in the past and they always just obliterate those bosses within 2-3min.
      I'm fine with me personally not being able to clear Crash because I know it's content for whales. But for whales it's easy and not challenging at all - just set up your team, play correctly and obliterate the boss because they have always been overpowered. And then they complain about not having challenging content. So why not make Solo Crash insanely hard, so it would be acutally hard and challenging for whales then? Most of the playerbase can't clear crash anyway, so I don't really understand this balance. Or lack thereof. Most poeple - unable to clear crash but crash still easy for whales.
      Personally I don't see EC being on down-spiral. I don't see people quitting every day. Most of friends and people I know are still playing since launch and I've also noticed a lot of new players have been joining and are still joining. Some whales quitting isn't surprising to me because that's what happens in every game - whales whale, clear all content, get bored and move on to whale on another game and it isn't that uncommon.
      What worries me more is them releasing crash together with a banner you have to pull on if you want to have any chance to clear it. Since they already did it once now, it's possible they may do it again in the future or it may be their new standard. This is something I don't like but I also can't change it.
