I'm doing CHRISTMAS special series with a REACTION EVERYDAY, ending on CHRISTMAS EVE! This takes so much work for me, combined with my main jobs, so I really hope you enjoy the content and appreciate the effort! ;)

Adriana is still young, I believe 15 in this one .She also appears with VoicePlay in We're Good, with Cesar de la Rosa, also in Frozen 2, and I think is the daughter of a friend of theirs. I did see a video of her being surprised at home by a phone call inviting her to perform with them. She has an amazing voice. I did hear that as they have been so closely involved with Disney in the past that they were able to get the original Grinch to appear in this. J.None's name is actually jesse Nun, so that explains how to pronounce it. He is currently in the navy but returned when on leave to perform in their Friends on the Other Side and some short things. Layne often does this type of role play, he is the French waiter in The Little Mermaid too, and in Moana he is doing a version of the chicken. Geoff's range is five octaves. Hear him in his solo cover of Blackbird.
Whoville is the fictional place that Dr. Seuss set his story about Mr Grinch.
J None is pronounced exactly like it sounds. Just the letter J. Good catch on Layne's tones... they say that Layne's voice is both lower and higher than Geoffs (5 octaves) - but, according to Layne, it "doesn't sound as good." But yes, he uses it a lot when he's beatboxing to get what ever the song needs. And he has a gorgeous baritone when he does sing. He's doing a French accent. Layne often takes the comic roles. He has great comic timing...
nope, the identity of the Grinch is a secret. all they want to say is: "it is the Grinch!"
You should check out Geoff's Solo Channel to see his full singing range (Geoff Castellucci) where he normally has 4-5 of himself singing. Merry Christmas to both of you and your families
The best guess on who played the Grinch is probably an actor from Universal Studios (theme park) as there is a whole Dr. Seuss land that has costumed Grinches at Christmas time and Geoff used to work there way back in the day

The ORIGINAL Grinch was a 1966 TV cartoon called How the Grinch Stole Christmas (aka Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas) and it was based on a 1957 children's book of the same name written by Dr. Seuss. The movie was narrated by Boris Karloff and can be found on CZcams split up into 6 videos. Please don't refer to the Jim Carrey movie as the original, that's 34 years too late.

Earl left the group amicably a while back, and they have been looking for a replacement. J.None has now left to join the Navy, but returned on leave and did "Friends on the Other Side". Adriana (who is 16!) is one of the amazing guest artists that they have brought in. Another outstanding guest artist is Ashley Diane in "If I Were a Rich Man" , which also has their newest member, Cesar De La Rosa.
Rachel Potter has also been a lovely addition to the group. She sang with them in the Moana Medley and Little Mermaid medley plus 4 or so other songs. My favorite though is The Phantom of the Opera. It ends with an absolutely stunning high note. That one is from 2015, before J None. There's Earl with normal looking hair, Geoff with short hair (took me awhile to recognize him), Eli looking dapper in the suit, and I think that's Tony Wakim taking lead. I'm not too familiar with him.

With Voiceplay, it’s always a good idea to play a little of the credits. There’s a cute little bit added onto this. Anyway, great reaction! Obviously, I’d love it if you check out more Voiceplay. Not sure what all you’ve seen at this point, but there’s lots to look at.

To reach the extra low notes below the chest range with subharmonic approach it's actually easier not to slide down to it but take a low chest pitch and drop an octave - exactly what he did in "39.5 foot pole" piece (though if I understand correctly, at the end he maneuvers within the subharmomic range as well).
This song, as well as the song the Whos start to sing at the beginning, are in the original cartoon movie. If you don't recognize those songs, or know who Max is, then I guess none of that was in the Jim Carrey version. In the Dr Seuss book and the cartoon movie, the Grinch ties one antler to the top of his dog Max's head, as a part of his plot to imitate Santa. He says: "If I can't FIND a reindeer, I'll MAKE one instead."

The Grinch is an actor, but the voice of the Grinch is actually Eli!
The Jim Carrey movie about the Grinch was a remake/reboot of the original 'made for TV' cartoon, _How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (1966)._ You should check that out, to hear the original version of this song, which is sung by one of Geoff's musical inspirations, Disney bass singer Thurl Ravenscroft.

#TheatreKidsOfACappella. It was a cartoon in the '60s. From the Dr. Zeuss book that you will see the Grinch reading. Geoff is singing Thurl Ravinscrofts song and sounds so much like him, just like his cover of The Headless Horseman. Max is the Grinch's dog.

Whoville is a community of very little people in Dr. Seuss children's books! Movies & plays have been made of the book, How The Grinch Stole Christmas. This video is from the musical of that story. 🤗💞
Song has been around since the 1050's. It was done by Ravensclaw who was a great bass singer. Story is, of course, based on a children's book by Dr. Suess. Adriana is really young, 14 or 15 I think, but she is great. She works with Voiceplay periodically. AND Max is the Grinch's sidekick, dog, that pulls the Grinch's sled. (sledge if you are in England) LOL!

Watch their Little Mermaid medley for more characters. If you haven't yet, you need to watch Carry on Wayward Son, Jingle Bells/Mission Impossible, Butter, Bang, Warrior, and wverything else on their playlist. Geoff also has really good stuff on his channel.
