This guy is no-craptalk certified.
Man was serving it hot to people as if he didn’t care about their feelings - And that’s important in todays over-sensitive world.
I am amazed at how Michael Seibel can turn any question into an opportunity to give an important lesson
Just learned about Michael, can’t stop listening to him now
I always love Michael's no-bullshit talk. There are SO many idiots in the startup world that chase the "founder image", or try to be "the next big thing". YC cuts through all that crap and asks "Are you solving a problem? Are you increasing revenue?"
It was such a great moment to witness the student learning about remittance for the first time in a class full of international students. Shows the diverse realities of people in the same room.
FOMO drives 90% of investment in startups 🔥
Wow. This is great! Very insightful and upfront. Now, I know why you are no. 1
He cracks me up with his description of Twitch in its earliest days.
Everyone in this video are so wonderfully pleasant. This is Michael at his best and this video has lots of essential info.
nothing says free thinker like wearing a mask in a remote meeting 😂
From 1:33:12 seems to trump it all for me. It was an amazing time listening to Mr Michael
Great talk. I had to watch all of it!
Great Information for my new startup. Doing M.V.P testing very soon, Great Show !!!
1:25:23 how to acquire customer. and what VCs want
This is philosophy!
Glad to see the host dutifully wearing a mask
🤷♂️
Hope she's not alone in that room
A muzzle on our oxygen intake is stupid
This was a lovely interview--thank you, Michael!!
32:14 how to make decisions on product building especially at early stages
1:15:01 about the difficulty of defining a market size
1:06:42 - If you assume you know about it before you’ve researched it, you’re just failing yourself. 💯
I already knew I was never going to do a start up before I came to this video. Now I feel even more validated in this decision. This is definitely not for me. However, I enjoy listening to these YC, start-up, videos nonetheless. Just watching from the sidelines I suppose
29:18 - what failing fast really means
As far coding learn enough to understand how to read code, and structure the routing. Plug and play with road blocks. Throw your hobby time takes 20 minutes a day 2 years. JavaScript master it.
What is that slang he keeps using 20:48? Seemster? I've never heard it before and I can't find any spelling of it that returns results on google

Michael’s a darling, but can be as hard as nails. Great guy.
37:03 why entrepreneurs are said to be broken people
"pivoting is changing the problem that you're solving; iterating is changing the solution [to a problem]"
37:07 LOL
Vr and Ar just had an iPhone moment. Apple just release the Vision pro!
55:45
Watching in 2024. Facebook will not be the VR lead since Apple stepped into the scene:)
29:15 fail fast
Great advice… I think he was bit hard on students but tolerated I guess.
Don’t they get pampered and over-spoonfed these days with a lot of fluffy information?
Jeez. I like Michaels advice but he was a bit rough here on the students. Sheesh.
yeah he was being an asshole lol
They are ALL paying attention to what he has to say because he isn’t bum-licking or fanning their egos.
More young people NEED to really know how the real world WORKS
Maybe take of the mask in order not to sound muffled.. apart from that great
Bruh what
I’m scared

Could someone tell the mod not to host webinars from the express checkout aisle at the grocery store? My god is that distracting.
What was wrong with UC students. That’s bad impression for the whole world.
This guy is super cringe for that camera bit
I AGREE
Damnn..Michael knows a lot… but I must not be the only one thinking that he is very rude. There are different ways to converse the message.
Oh god that face mask, soo disturbing…
I'm not a fan of masks, but seriously?
@@jayrollo1352 To be fair it's pretty obnoxious
Too much profanity. And I am usually absolutely not bothered. But amazing content.
